Really cool Dave, but I didn't realize that you were an artist until last week. Little wonder for the artistic abilities seen. Nice work! Yes, it is indeed fun to mess-around with and be creative with photos.
Recently I got a version of "BlackMagic" that helps colorize old B+W photos. What a blast! Above is my attempt at the French Composer Maurice Ravel, (1875-1937) probably taken circa 1925. It is fun to see what a great composer might have looked-like in colour. Frederic Chopin, (1810-1849) was the most difficult attempt I have tried so far. But back to your very kind invite:
As for the "cuppa," no sugar in mine please. Thanks! Will be over promptly at 2pm just after I walk the dogs. I prefer my Coffee in a Bone China Cup with floral design and always blue napkins. The spoon of course must be made of the finast .999 Sterling Silver and have been imported by Tiffany and Co. of NY. from England. Oh yes, a Mahogony Table with matching chair is a must and be supported by a hand-carved support with fancy legs. Also, don't forget that the placemat must be that of the finast linen with a fringe on it. My preferance is to be seated near a window looking South. See Dave, I am just so easy to please and hardly fussy at all. LOL :-)

that image manipulation software looks very interesting, and by the looks of it you have done a fine job. I guess it would be similar to the old hand tinted technique used on black and white photos only computerised. Very nice execution sir.
Wow! Another Maurice Ravel Fan (or someone who at least thinks he is worth looking at). He cleans and repairs piano, colourizes old photos and is really easy to accomodate when inviting to tea. Well 2 out of 3 isn't bad, Justin.
(I did a study on his "Tombeau de Couperin" when I was in University for my Music History research assignment.)
