A pic is above, also I was wondering if a receding hairline is possible at age 16 (almost 17), I know it sounds stupid but my dad started balding at age 20.
Hi Dave,
Anything is possible, but I wouldn't worry about it. I also have a receding hairline but parting in the middle like you do is a good way of hiding it.
Almost all males gets a slight receding hairline when closing in on the 20s. As far as I know, it´s perfectly normal.
Yep. It's possible. Mine started receding when I was 15. But don't worry. It's not that bad. I'm 22 now and still have a full head of hair . And it's also long, a bit past shoulder length. My hairline has been receding ever since I was 15 but slowed down when I was 19. My hair covers it so it's barely noticable. I just recomend not fussing over a receding hairline. It's no big deal and it's normal. It happens to tons of guys and a receding hairline doesn't necessarily make you look worse.
Looks ok to me, I wouldn't worry. Remember mpb seems to be passed down from your mothers side, generally.

Hi Dave,
Everything looks good as far as I can see, your hair looks healthy and shiny. I cannot see any problems with your hairline in your picture. Don't forget, everyone's hairline transitions from a juvenile hairline to a more mature hairline, this generally happens in one's late teens and early twenties and is not related to balding in any way. Also remember, that MPB is not necessarily passed down from father to son, the mother's side plays a role as well, and if anything, a more significant role than your father's side. I would not worry for now, only if you notice problems down the road would I advise you to see a doctor.
All the best, and keep everything growing,
(another) Dave
I developed a receding hairline in high school and it stopped then at 39 I went throught a very painful divorce and I experienced hairloss again. DON'T STRESS OUT! Stress is a contributing factor to hairloss. Your hair looks great!
