What is the best type of hair ties 'cause my hair is almost good for a low ponytail...(Front hair is a little shorter then the back hair...
Get little black stretchy ties that you can wrap around two or three times.
I think that regular cloth ones are best. You can get them in pretty much any color, too.
Also, avoid the kind with the metal piece on them. Those will undoubtedly get snagged into the hair and probably cause some breakage.
These are what I use:
That's about an inch
I don't know if these are sold worldwide
They work pretty well. If they get stretched out, I just triple them over.

I always found those too thick/bulky for shorter hair. I think the skinnier ones work better and are less obtrusive. Plus the little metal bits don't cause breakage or get caught, at least for me.
Hi there, Bruce.
I have to say you have a great ponytail, the hair looks nice and thick in back, shiny and healthy. I've never seen you post a tail picture before. I thought you had complained about thinning at one time, I sure don't see any sign here. (When I tail, I can see the thinning in my crown area) I assume all your hair, including the bangs, now fits into the tie, pretty impressive for 16 months!
