Matt I tryed what you said and they just laughed at the teachers but they stopped. I am in high school. I am still looking for ways to hide it. I've tryed a ponytail that makes it stick out even more waht should I do?

  Something else I though of as I read over your message again, if they ACTUALLY tried to set your hair on fire, I'd have to say that would be grounds for a suspension from school. The school system that I went to
  had a strict policy about matches and lighters in school. If you got caught, even for the first time, you got a 3 day suspension from school.
  As for trying to tuck your hair or hide it, I'd be proud to show it. ;-)
