I was just able to put all of my bangs beside my ears without falling out, one hour before the 12th May (I live in Bulgaria so I'm ahead of most of you with the time) when it will be exactly 10 months since I started growing out. It doesn't look cool but 1st it helps me concentrate when i want to read or see(lol) and 2nd it shows hair grows :D
I also tried to see and I can have a much decent ponytail then let's say 2 months not decent enough of course but would help with shaving. Tomorrow I'll ask one of my friend to buy me an elastic band cuz she said she wanted to be the first one to do that when I told her about growing out last summer. Can't provide pics though too tired.
Anyway, all those milestones are inspiring for beginners like some of us and it brings great moments of happiness! GROW OUT! :D

I remeber my hair going behind my ears, around the 10 month mark too. I'm not too sure.

That is the first milestone and I appreciated it as well. It was nice to be able to read without having to keep playing with the hair to keep it out of the way. Congrats and keep it up!
Great to hear that you've reached that all-important milestone! Once you start in with the elastic bands, you'll become addicted. lol =)
