Hi there, Bruce,
With all the pictures of guys posting ponytail pictures recently, your ponytail picture (the first one I have seen) got buried inside another thread so a lot of guys would have missed it.
I just wanted to add that (as I also said in that thread) that you have a great ponytail! I was particularly impressed that you are already wearing a segmented ponytail (similar to Jason's) after only 16 months, with two ties down the length of it, also, all your hair is in the tie. The hair also appears in really good condition in back, I had remembered you complaining about thinning earlier (in an earlier thread a few months back), I see no sign here! It would be great if you could include more ponytail pictures, as well as pictures showing your back length in your next update. (I see you have figured out how to post multiple pictures per post, so hopefully you can include lots of pictures next time!)
Keep it growing,
David
(PS--Your avatar is out of date (when was that taken, BTW?), your hair is at least 6 inches longer now)
Hi David,
Thank you for your kind words. I've been able to put my hair into a ponytail since October, but I do like to wear it down, at least at home. That picture a used showed the bands quite well, but it did cut the top of my head off. Here are a couple of pics that are a little more honest.
This picture was taken Jan 9th
adn this one was taken Feb 20th
My avatar was taken back in Aug!! It should be changing soon, I sent an update to Oren recently.
Bruce
Thanks Bruce, looking great, I'm amazed how long your tail is already. I like the hair ties you use, they appear less damaging than the ones containing the thin metal band. I'll have a look to see if I can find them today. I'm looking forward to your next update. It's great that you've figured out how to post multiple pics per post, that means you can post LOTS of pictures next time!
Looking forward to meeting you in 2009! (I have you on my route now for my grand tour of the US)
Keep 'er growing,
David
Don't forget the Southern loop!
Hi George,
Actually, I do plan to swing down your way (New Orleans, I believe?) My route tentatively goes down the East Coast to near Georgia, then across the southern tier until I reach California, north through Oregon, etc. (possible detour through Nevada to see Grand Canyon). I'll add you to the list!
David
When in New Orleans, give me a heads up. Im only a 45 minute drive away.

Oh, yes, Clayton! I haven't forgotten you from your earlier post, I have your name on my list already. (Have to get some of that seafood that you mentioned, after all, I have a memory like an elephant, lol!)

Hi there,
Good to hear from another guy interested in meeting me! On my return trip, I will probably be driving from Mich into southern Canada (I would like to meet Mihnea in the London area and Shawn in Toronto) then across southern Canada back east home. It's certainly possible that I could make the eastward treck close to Buffalo, NY (I can't remember right now if Buffalo is at the eastern end of Lake Erie or Lake Ontario, I'll check that out)
David
David, Looks like you are going to have long trip.. :)
Hi again, Chris!
I anticipate the trip to last at least a month, possibly more, it is a post retirement dream after all(I really want to try to plan my route to meet as many guys as possible from the MLHH). I enjoy the MLHH so much that it really is a dream of mine to meet as many as possible of you great guys in person! My return trip after visiting California (my main goal) will be across the northern US/southern Canada. This should run fairly close to where you are. (I believe you are in Michigan, if I remember correctly) I most certainly have not forgotten you, it would be GREAT to get together and hang out for a bit!
All the best,
David
I was wondering when you plan your next update. Your hair and beard in your avatar are awesome so naturally I am REALLY looking forward to an update!
David
Hi David,
Good to hear from you, My avatar pic was taken 1-18-07 so I figured around June for an update.
Chris
Hi Chris,
It's a long time to wait but "all good things come to those who wait"! I am really looking forward to it!
David
