I hear a lot a suggestions on how to avoid breakage, but is really that big of a deal?
I consider my hair to be healthy, and I towel dry it. Breakage? Not that I see. It's not
like your hair is going to break off in big clumps or something.
I don't know - people typically suggest not towel-drying it (or only doing it gently) due to breakage, although I'm not sure how much breakage would occur from rougher towel-drying. I myself just pat it dry after a shower. Also, keep in mind that even if you don't notice a lot of broken hairs, there still might be some, and that could over time add up to more damaged hair.
I would say towel drying is fine as long as you do not vigorously rub or anything, i used to in the past and I think this is what has given my bangs a rough texture compared to the rest of my hair.
Remember that every 'long' hair that breaks will take a long time to replace..
