I couldn't resist putting up a pic of my first ponytail - okay so its a bit feeble with a long way to go yet but all the same I'm feeling good. It will never be all that thick because my hair is very fine anyway and it is thinner than it was but the rate of loss is slow Ive decided and I am just going to enjoy what I have for as long as I can and not worry.
That is a great bit of advice for anyone concerned about the opinions of others (or who often hear the voice of inner criticism). Good for you on making the first ponytail. I believe it will only get better. Good for you, Firethorn!

I think your hair will look thicker with more growth. I also like how you got past the stage of not having a ponytail. Keep up the good work and stay out of barbershops.
Congratulations on the tail! Even if it may be small, it's still a tail, a milestone to be really proud of. The hair looks great, straight and in wonderful condition.
From what I see here, you have no problems as far as I can see with thinning. I have looked at your picture and one area I always check when guys have fears of MPB is the crown area of your head. As I see no thinning in this all important area, I would say you have no fears of MPB in your case at all. The fact that I cannot see thinning even in your wet hair picture is very significant as well. Thinning always shows more in wet hair, I can imagine your hair is much thicker when dry. I would not worry in the least, I predict you will always have a full head of hair!
As you have great quality hair, I hope you plan to grow it super long! Do you have a final goal?
Keep it growing,
David
Thankyou all for your support. At the moment I plan to grow it as long as I possibly can so who knows what that will be. I hope it may get to below shoulder blades anyway.
You definitely should enjoy your hair, everybody has to start from the same place. Your hair looks very healthy so you shouldn't have much trouble growing it out and it being straight makes that so easy. Well done :)
