I adore long hair on men. My husband can no longer have long hair due to hair loss and his job. I have encouraged my eldest son to grow his as he may not be able to do so over the next few years for what ever the reason be. I myself until recently had waist length hair (pic on LHC). I had become ill and couldn't stand to have all that hair on me for some reason so I cut it off to shoulder length. And as some women do I tried to color it some and it has been a disaster. So I headed back to LHC to get back in the swing of taking care of my hair properly once again.
I will post a pic of my son's hair and get him to participate in the board.

and you were attacked by a couple of posters who should be ashamed of themselves for posting what they did. There is absolutely no reason to apologize for anything said in your 1st posting below. If anything, YOU are due an apology!
The Hyperboard has allowed women who support long hair on guys to post and we are happy to do so. You are most welcome here.
As for those posters who treated you verbally in a most shabby mannor that was most un-called for, they had better watch their step from now on if they know what's good for them.

I'm really glad you decided to join this neat board. The folks here are really supportive and are great listeners. I've only been on the board for a short time and wasn't really inspired to grow out my hair until I got involved with MLHH.

Welcome, chamogirl, this is an awesome place for hair! :D It would be nice when you post pics of your son's hair and maybe your hair as well? If you have damage I'm sure the MLHH members will be able to tell you how to fix it =} Still, there may be no damage at all, so just post !! :D Welcome again!
You did not offend anyone and certainly didn't do anything wrong! Everyone is welcome here (as David said in a thread below) no matter the gender as long as they support long hair! I am definitely looking forward to seeing pictures of both yours and your son's hair.

Hey, You did not offend anyone. You are very welcome here. So please, Do not think otherwise. As for your son, I cannot wait to see him become a member. Its always great to have new members regardless of their gender/race/sexual orientation/ etc..... I hope you post a pic of yourself too and ignore the insignificant comments that were made.
