Hi guys! It's been too long since I've visited. I need to remember to come by more often!
I have a few questions for everyone, and my latest picture too! Sorry it's such a blurry webcam picture.. but you can see how much longer my hair is now as compared to my icon picture!
Anyway. The ends of my hair have been getting more and more brittle lately... I suppose it's understandable considering the length of my hair, but I suspect it's from all the hair ties I use. I usually have 2 or 3 hair ties in my pony tail. I never use rubberbands though. Does anyone have any suggestions for specific hair ties that are easier on the hair? =)
Also, in the past few months, I've come up with a "long term plan" for my hair. I may or may not keep it forever, but in the past 2-3 months I've been leaning towards not keeping it forever. That doesn't mean I'm cutting soon. I'm just saying I will eventually. And when I do, I'd like to donate it. I've heard mixed things about locks of love (I think that's what it's called?) and I was wondering if there's anyway to donate it to someone you know, rather than just randomly sending it in...
I also heard that they require 10 or so inches of hair in a braid (I don't know if this is true or not), I have about 15 inches starting at the first band in my ponytail (I've never braided my hair though so I don't know how long it'd be).
I wear my hair back alot, how do you guys think I would look with an industrial (ear piercing)?
That's all I can think of for now. I promise I'll try to stop by more often, and thanks to anyone who has responses to my questions! =)
Hey, welcome back!
The best hair ties to use are those made out of cloth (no metal pieces) and that feel very soft.
I am not sure about locks of love, but a braid will be long enough by the time you decide to donate it.
As for the industrial piercing, those always look good:P.
Keep it growing!

Thanks! Yeah I always use cloth ones, but I can't help but wonder if there's any super soft ones out there that I can get.
I can seee your hair are much longer than in your avatar.
how long is there between those two pictures
and you have really nice hair!!
a.
Hi! Thanks for the comment. =) I have very blonde hair, I'm proud to grow it out!
But anyway, I think there's about a year between pictures. Overall, it has been growing for almost 4 years.
Hey, how long have you been growing? That looks like a really cool length.
About 4 years overall!
Hello,
I bet you could work it out with a private wig maker if you wanted to donate your locks to a particular person. You have awesom hair and I hope my hair is as good as yours when it gets long. I wonder if locks has a way of making sure your hair goes to whoever you want it to. Also just a suggestion if you do cut it you should set it up where you can do it as a fundraiser for your charity also. I am sure some guys here would donate money to help your cause. I just like I said hope my hair is as ggood looking as yours. Remember the 2 week rule wait two weeks when you are ready to see if you want to do it
Thanks! Yeah I've been thinking about finding a private wig maker instead, I've heard alot of crap about locks.
And by the time I do cut it, I'll most likely go with the "month rule" rather 2 weeks! Hehe
Hi and good to see you again!
I am so glad you are still growing your hair, you have achieved an incredible increase in length from your avatar. I say it's time to email Oren and have him change your avatar. Your hair also looks to be in fantastic condition, I can tell you look after it very well.
The best hair ties are those without the metal band in them, they cause the least damage, also be sure not to tie your hair too tightly. There are some ties that are called "scuncies", if I am not mistaken.
I do hope you keep planning to grow your hair as long as possible. I know the decision to donate at some future time has to be up to you, I won't get into a discussion about the Locks of Love right now, you have probably already heard some of the comments made about that organization. I assume you have done your homework.
All the best,
David
Yes, you do, your hair looks awesome by just what I can tell in the picture.
Those all cloth ones are supposed to be the gentlest on the hair.
There are several organizations that make wigs for cancer patients. However, any of them would be better served by a cash donation rather than your hair. The story goes that they have more hair than they know what to do with. Even better, a donation to cancer research funds so that there is eventually no need for such wig-making organizations is even better.
Probably very cool!
Wow! You must have stepped away for longer than I thought. That's some serious length you've got. Looks great even though the pic is a blurry.
