Hey,
Should I apply Jojoba to wet hair or dry hair?
It's best to lightly oil your hair when it's wet or damp.
A lot of people apply it more heavily the day before they shampoo. They like to leave it in over night. =o)

Light oiling is great for facial hair too, BTW. =o)
I don't think it really matters but like any other leave-ins I think it's better to put it while your hair is still wet.
For some reason… I’m a MAD fan of olive oil [Extra Virgin Olive Oil] (internal and external)… it contains non-saponifables, huge yummy amounts of Omega 9 and 3’s with a molecular structure similar to that of human skin, (though not quite as close as Emu – but Emu leaves a HORRIFIC oil layer) & it is easily absorbed… It’s going to sound rather “primal”… but I got the idea from horse and dog shows to incorporate plentiful amounts Omega Fatty Acids into my diet (typically 1.5 mg 3x daily) and skin/hair… trophy owners tend to feed copious amounts to the show animals to encourage a glossy sheen in the coat…
Apply slightly wet and let sit (warm) for an hour prior to shampooingÂ… (try to use a non-Sodium Laureth/Laurel based shampoo)Â… incorporate some in your dietÂ… great for skin too! And NO! IÂ’m not from the Olive Oil Endorsement Council! ;-)
SorryÂ… one last addendumÂ… the above statement should have read 1.5 GRAMS Omega 3Â’s Â… not milligramsÂ…
P.S. Given... diet plays a critical role in the health of your hair and it’s ability to grow to its maximum potential… protein, critical amino acids… especially the sulfinated ones (i.e. cysteine/methione – which regulates to cysteine) … and fatty acids (like most non-trans oils) are GREAT ways to ensure healthy hair especially when beginning a growth cycle. It’s TRUE… these nutrients cannot make your hair grow any longer or faster than genetically predispositioned… but getting too few can definitely impede your goals…
I suppose thatÂ’s why IÂ’m a HUGE fan of the oliveÂ… can use it externally and internally!
Cheers!
