I went in and got my undercut today. I didn't think I would go this route again, but it's really a practical solution to what I actually want. Aside the fact that I couldn't appreciate the big puffy mess that was the hair on the lower back part of my head, I can hide it under a cap for my hair nazi of an employer. I can tie it up out of the way when I shave (am I the only one who fears messing up big time when they do?), and I can now make a pony tail; albiet with a little dab of jell to keep the wind from blowing it out. I wore it back like this most of the day without having to redo it. :) I wish I had a camera atm. I wanted to take a pic for you guys soo bad. Anyway, I predict within a month or two I'll be able to do it without the jell so the cap still serves a useful porpose besides block the suns rays.
hi Emmerich,
undercuts can look cool.after all,HHH has one, hehe.one thing about undercuts is that they are hard to maintain, you need to go to a competent stylist in order for the undercut not to "travel up" so to speak.how long is your hair now?

So whats an undercut?
Its where you leave the hair on top of your head long and buzz
the sides and back. If you don't get an extreme one, that is
don't buzz very high up they can be useful and cool. That is the
way mine is. It makes my curly frizzy hair look much neater
and if I have to look conservative for work I just put my ponytail
up under a cap and then nobody has a clue that there is long
hair under there.
