Hail to thee, fellow long-haired citizens!
I found a picture of me in my Highland garb! It was taken at Halloween at work, so my hair is quite a bit longer now. I got a lot of attention at the Ren Fest, all of positive. Mostly, it was the kilt, but there were several who loved the hair!

The Photog was mainly interested in the "costume", but my hair was still slightly damp, so it didn't come out to play till later in the day.
The Scotsmen usually wears nothing under the kilt, at least when it comes to expressing the traditions. Quite surprising, I thought that Scotland is quite a windy place. :)
That is correct! Nothing is worn under the kilt, it's all in perfect working order!

Usually, what I wear under my kilt is socks and shoes (and a wee bit o' talcum powder), but that day I didn't go "regimental" since I was at work. (Didn't want to upset the boss)

It's awesome! I've never worn anything more comfortable. I'm going to be in one full-time, as soon as I can get more casual kilts in my wardrobe! For us long-hairs, who treasure our freedom, this is freedom times 2! The freedom of flowing hair combined with the freeing "the boys" feels like nothing else! It only requires some attention to your surroundings so nobody gets offended. Totally worth it!
