Alright folks
Any tips guys on what i can do with my hair to stop its puffyness and feeling dry and softy,i want it to be flatter???
I have about 9 months of growth with somewhat wavy hair. Here's what works for me:
1) I find that blowdrying my hair makes it puffier, sometimes dramatically so. I learned this the hard way and went to work looking like a small lion. If I do feel the need to use the dryer, I try to keep it to a bare minimum.
2) Washing only every-other day keeps a little more oil in my hair. It's less puffy on the second day.
3) Tying a bandana around my head while it's drying makes it much flatter.
4) Anti-poof shampoo and conditioner can help a bit, but it's not a cure-all in my experience.
5) Have patience. It has to go down instead of out eventually.
Good luck!

Should be 8 months of growth. I'm getting ahead of myself.
