I gather most of you are in the states.? Im in the UK, Great Briton (well, someone has to) Anyone else in the UK here.?
Sorry, Great Britain, not Briton.
I wondered what was up with that spelling. Thought it was somewhere I never heard of before. lol
I'm not in the UK, but I'm from OK. Oklahoma, USA. :)
Well, I must be honest, i hate it here in the UK, its known more and more as RIP OFF BRITAIN these days. Planning on visiting the US in the future, always wanted to travel from east to west, though where exactly, im spoilt for choice, maybe spent a while over there, who knows.
Why do they call it RIP OFF BRITAIN?
Just curious...=o)
It's meant to be more expensive. London is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in, but I don't really know for the country as a whole.
And I love the UK :)
London! I love London, it's fantastic :)
I am hoping to meet as many fellow Canadian and American members of the MLHH as possible in early 2009 when I take a HUGE road trip across the US, returning home via southern Canada.
David
My Mom was from the UK, met my dad during the war, they came back to Canada and got married here after the war.
I've never been to the UK myself, however.
Never been to the UK, but...
At college in Indiana, but I live in Littleton, Colorado, USA.
UK - Cumbria or Yorkshire depending where I elect to stay at any time.
Israel for me. I'm a student here for another three semesters, if everything goes to plan. Originally... well, *ORIGINALLY* I'm still from Israel, but the family moved to Florida when I was 2, and I lived there until about a year and a half ago.
I've *been* to England before, but only a couple hours on a layover at Heathrow.
I'm originally from Widefield, CO (a little town south of Colorado Springs), but I was assigned to the AF base in Tucson back in '84. Been here ever since. Can't wait for summer to start, because sweat dripping from long hair is SO attractive! :P
Lon
Yes, from the American South I come. I've never been to Britannia, but would love to visit one day, Ireland too.
Metro Atlanta area.
Technically I live in New York City, I'm in one of the 5 boroughs (staten island). Of course, we're so far removed from the rest of the city that I really count it as a technicality.

Is that part of you world wide trip David!
Maybe my trip isn't world wide, but I hope to see you next month!
Take care John,

Hi John,
Actually, my trip in 2009 after I retire will be a road trip in my car, mostly through the states and southern Canada.
My mom was from the UK and met my dad in the 2nd world war while he was overseas. After the war, they married and settled in Nova Scotia where I was born in 1953. I have never been overseas but hope to get there some day after I retire.
All the best,
David
Sounds like a great road trip David, Im planning on doing a long road trip later this year, but not quite as far as yourself. Im driving from UK to Finland.

And Norway for its awesome black metal.

Depending on the outcome, I could be in Washington DC or the San Francisco Bay area, or if some unlikely strange twist of fate occured, I could end up in Baltimore or Pittsburgh. I should know very soon now; but for right now I'm still in Washington, DC where I was actually born; although I was raised in nearby Springfield, Virginia.
...and occasionally, when I'm with my king of hearts, Altena, which is just some 50 miles from here!
Im in Southern California!!! Land of the Long Hairs
,
I am in Central Texas where i was born and raised. The Actual city in in is Waco. I saw someone in here who is from Central Texas.

I am in Taiwan...
Actually, Scotts Valley in the hills. Santa Cruz is a big surfing paradise, although I don't do that myself.
What's so beautiful is that so many of us are NOT from one place. We are from all over, and yet you would hardly notice it here, because for the most part we put aside our nationalities, religions, and even generations here, and here we become one people - we are LONGHAIRS!
Bill in San Francisco
Well... I'm not from the UK but I'll be there next month for a vacation! I'm in San Jose, CA.

or as we call it Brizzle
Germany. - I wish there were any long-haired men with butt-length, knee-length or floor-length hair here in our country, not only in Australia (for example Danny Cecati from EYEFEAR) or USA (Baron Misuraca from VASARIA).
On the LEFT Coast of the USA, Bend, Oregon. A "Blue State", Bend is a ski resort town in the center of the state, in high desert and mountains. Lots of climbers, tri-atheletes and fit types that are not ALL short hairs!
This photo was taken of me while I was hiking around Bend. Beautiful country up there! If I'm up there again, Daniel maybe we can meet.
Bill in San Francisco
HI Bill,
Of course we can meet. Heck, come stay. I live on a butte too, but just not the one in your photo. This is a great place to get away to from the Bay Area. (only 500 miles direct from SF). As the weather warms, come check out the wild state to the north of you.
Cheers,
-Daniel
WOW Bill, just look at that view.!! Stunning, great pic.!
