Franny worked her magic again today to create a style very reminiscent of Lord of the Rings specifically an Eowyn style.

I have to say you both have incredible hair and the braids look awesome!:)
Also, is Franny your girlfriend or?

I am so glad you are posting all these styles, because they are great. Now, are you wearing them or just experimenting with them? Today's style is especially appealing and looks excellent as we can see for either a man or woman.
Also, although you have only alluded to this, congrats on finding this new friend (wink, wink).
But now, I have tomorrow's challenge for Franny...posted above we see a Legolas style. What think ye of this? Herringbone half-tail with three strand braids over each ear...Can she do it??? Same time, same-bat-place, same-bat-board, tomorrow???
I have actually been thinking I would take just the side portions of my hair toward the front and try Jedi-learner braids after seeing all this. Surely, though, I could only hope to be a rank pretender to such greatness as we have seen of late. ;-)

Great idea, Bragi!
GO FOR IT, Jason! (Franny, you have some work to do now!)
I'm looking forward to tommorrow,
David
Oh good, so I'm not going crazy :)
Jason - all of these styles are excellent, I'm glad you're having fun with the experiments. I like this style more than the others you've shown recently, but they're all great. I think the 4-weave braid takes second place for me, the roundness makes it seem like a slightly more masculine choice to the traditional 3-weave.
Awesome! Keep the braids coming :-) I'd like experment myself too, but I can't do braids very well! Furthermore, my hair is too short and too curly to get any decent braids, I'm afraid.
Very nice, Jason. I can't wait to see the Legolas braid. I hope that is coming next. Franny is very talented at braiding and could probably do a great Legolas braid.
That 4 strand box braid from an earlier thread looked great too. Those are not easy to do. I can do them, but not on myself. I really need to see what I am doing.

I'd have to say I really like that style right there!!especially the braided one.oh,and I'm really looking forward to the legolas style:now,THAT would be a challenge for your friend,hehe..^_^
That Legolas-style looks really really good. You got to try that one Jason!
Wow, those just keep coming and coming. Franny's a genius, especially for thinking of LOTR styles! They look great!
