Self-timed, and massively cropped. It's so cool to have all those pixels to work with. This picture is 100% real, except I used scratch removal to get rid of a spot on my shirt, which turned out to be a piece of cardboard from some packaging that was about 2mm. Sometimes, there is *too much* detail. I think I might like this as my new avatar pic.
You really have awesome hair! You know like something you could see in a commercial or something. :)
Great hair! It's not terminal lenght, is it? I'm new to this sort of thing, but it certainly doesn't LOOK like it's getting much thinner at the tips, so I would assume you're still gaining length.
Keep it growing!
Mouse
No, I think it's still growing. That's kind of an issue. I'm not sure if I want it to get much longer, but I'm pretty sure it will.
Full pic, scaled down to a manageable viewing size. This reminds me of an ancient thread about pets resembling their owners. Well, plants aren't usually thought of as pets; but Victor posted a picture of a plant of some kind, with long flowing tendrils. Well, check out my philodendron!
Your hair looks super! It seems that you're not too far from belt length.
Take care!
Simon
WOW!!! Awesome awesome hair! Great length!
WOW!!! Awesome awesome hair! Great length!
Beautiful hair, man!
Bill
Great quality, you're right. Your hair looks wonderful, it's so long and there's no thinning!
Hi Steve,
That is absolutely MAGNIFICENT hair, great you got the self timer working! Do you have a final goal? It appears from your thickness that you could easily grow it to the length Absalom has, do you hope to achieve his length?
Keep it growing,
David
The hair looks shiny, sleek, and the length is giving me some serious hair envy. Simply amazing, dude. Congrats.
Steve you have beautiful hair. I hope mine will look that beautiful when it gets long. Do you ever put your hair in a ponytail?
When walking about or working, it's almost always in a tail. When kicking back and watching TV, or sleeeping, or anything else where I'm not moving around very much, it's loose. Sometimes, when the weather is cool and there isn't too much wind, I'll walk around with it loose. I had it loose for the picture because, well, that makes a better picture.
Nice!!
How long is there between your avatar and that pic?
It is just like seeing my own hair, just a little longer
We have the same colour,texture..

Great looking mane Steve!
It's nice to see a hi-res picture of you now.

Thanks. Are you still in charge of avatars? If so, can you make this the new one?
Your hair looks great! I like the way the color lightens the greater the length becomes. That's a cool plant too. I've got one just the same going from the floor and all the way up a window and across the top. I wish my hair grew that fast! Hope your decision comes easily on deciding where to move and what to do coming up. That's a lot to think about for sure, and good luck.
Amazing! That is some great looking hair pal. How long have you been growing it? Have you had any trims?
Cheers!
Wow! Great hair! =o)
Your hair color looks kind of like mine.
Not Red, but not Brown either. lol
I was wondering when you might reconsider a newer avatar pic, --- this pic really shows off your hair (and its amazing length) to much better advantage!
As I was kiddingly saying to SOADdude, above: The only thing I don't like about your hair is... it's not MINE (lol)!!
Take Care,
Ken in San Francisco
Great hair! it's come a long (pun intended) way in comparison with your avatar. Keep it growing.

Hi Steve,
Your hair is mad! I which my hair would hurry the hell up and get to your hair sort of lenght. How long have you been growing it for?
Neil
A little over five years. I bet if you pulled on one of your curly locks they'd be almost as long.
Amazing hair!!
Your hair is OUTSTANDING, man! Long and healthy...just awesome!
