Just wondering how long people's showers are, with washing and conditioning, etc.
Approx. 10 minutes once (sometimes twice) a week.
Air Drying time approx. 2 to 3 hours.

Every day, 10 minutes, slightly cold water. Air dry, few hours.
Mine would be around 10 minutes with washing and conditioning in late afternoon or early evening. It takes my hair around 2 hours to air dry, perhaps longer if it is humid.

I guess I take long showers compared to most. It seems that everyone is saying 10 minutes, and I just did some research and found out that the average American spends 8 minutes in the shower.
Personally, I spend about 20-25 minutes in the shower. I'm really wondering how it's even possible to wash your hair, condition it, and then wash your body in only 10 minutes...it seems like someone would have to be rushing like crazy to do something like that =P
For myself, about 5 minutes. I allow the conditioner to remain in my hair for 2-3 minutes before washing "just about all" of it out.
Isn't that an awful waste of water! But it really takes that long
when you hair is really long and prone to becoming tangled.
*Shampoo scalp only.
*Rinse
*Conditioner
*Finger combing
*Rinse
*2nd Finger combing then...
*Twist hair tightly in large bath towel
and leave it that way for 15-20 minutes.
Total time: way too long.
Washing hair adds about 5 minutes to the routine. However, I love hot water, so the length of the shower is more dependent on how much time is available and how much hot water is available.
about 40 minutes...(till hot water is gone)
Whenever I shower and wash/condition my hair I seem to use something like 20/30 minutes. Before I started growing my hair, the regular was more like 10/15 minutes.. It takes about 10 minutes when I'm not washing my hair, which I don't do sometimes, because it takes to long to dry, even if it's only about shoulder length.
if I'm washing my mane,it usually takes 12-20 minutes.if not,5 minutes at the most..
Maybe slightly longer.
About 15-20 minutes, my hair takes 5-10 minutes. I shampoo and condition (only ends and I don't leave it even for a minute because my hair it's oily and even after putting it it's difficult to get out).
20-30 minutes just on my hair alone!
If I go over 15 minutes I'm pretty dissapointed with myself. Sooo much water is used in showers, it's kind of a waste. I think about the fact that I use more fresh water in one shower than some families get to drink in a day/week. Its a very humbling thought.
15-20 minutes max.
I really fail to see how it takes everone so long! Especially when a lot of people's hair is shorter than mine :S
On days when I do full washes (shampoo and conditioner), shampooing takes two to three minutes. After rinsing, I put in conditioner and wash the rest of myself whilst that is doing its job, which takes another three to four minutes. After another rinse, the total time is ten minutes at the most.
