Damn it! I usually don't have dandruff but my hair itches incredibly now and I took a look and saw that there's dandruff. When I have dandruff for me it's just a phase. It goes for a week. But it itches immensely and I want to ask if I'll dry my hair too much if I wash it again (I washed it yesterday) and suffer another overproduction of oil. But I think leaving the dandruff will be worse. Thanks.
I think you should try the shampoo only routine for a while and see how it goes.there are people that wash every day with good results, you should at least give it a try.but whatever you do,don't scratch your scalp with fingernails.!!
I think I got it. If I shampoo only like yesterday my hair dries out and will look its best in afew hours when the oil returns. (When I use conditioner it will look its best right after washing) But with shampoo only my scalp produces even more oil to replenish the lost oil so I should use shampoo and conditioner and because I stressed my hair yesterday and today (I couldn't stand the itching so I washed it) I won't wash it till Thursday.
All and all at least the dandruff is gone.
Often when i shampoo, i tend to get small white skin flakes that falls down on my clothes, it's most notieceable in the forhead area, i've even tried baby shampoo and i stil get it, i dunno if this is dandruff or just dry skin.
Your hair looks great by the way, must be really easy to grow since it's so straight.

Try anti-dandruff shampoo and use plenty of conditioner.
Hey dude
Certain factors could be causing this wretched dandruff. Shampooing too much can dry the scalp and cause itching and dandruff. Another possible explanation for the dandruff, Buildup. Maybe you have some buildup caused from hair products or maybe the buildup can also be caused by over-conditioning. When one has buildup, The scalp tends to itch severely and when rubbed/scratched, You shed these little flakes resembling dandruff. They tend to have a yellowish color(In my case) Try changing your washing routine and see what is causing this dandruff. Also. Try to stay away from anti-dandruff shampoos because they tend to be very harsh on your hair. Perhaps you can try applying some Tea-Tree Oil on your scalp. It is great for dandruff. If you can't find the oil, Look for a beauty supply store and buy this conditioner and shampoo called:"Paul Mitchell Special Tea Tree Conditioner/shampoo" They work great. It prevents/reduces itching and can help rid of the dandruff. Below, There is a link showing you the product i am talking about.
Dandruff shampoo is really harsh, but there are a lot of home remedies you can try. A lot of people just smash up a few asprins and add that to their shampoo and swear it works wonders.
Stay away from Tea Tree and Lavender oils though! The University of Colorado School of Medicine presented several cases of young men who had developed marked breast enlargement from using shampoos containing lavender and tea tree oils, which are widely used essential oil additives that present no problem for adults.
Home Remedies for Dandruff
Yeah, as here was mentioned, there are two kinds of dandruff. The dry, dead pieces of scalp (white) and the yellow dandruff, which has something to do with oil overproduction (skin exacerbation).
The first kind - I have tried some complexion moisturizing cream, to put carefully on my scalp and rub it in, after washing the hair. I think it worked very well and the hair even didn't look greased. (just be careful and don't put the cream all over your hair)
The second kind, the skin exacerbation was a nightmare for me, several years ago. I even had a spot of crust of that on a side of my scalp. I recommend it to wash it carefully, but frequently, and remove all the dandruff gradually, but never make the scalp bleed. Ok, I hope no-one here is gonna have such extreme problem, but god thanks for the internet anonymity.
Denorex with 2.5% coal tar solution. This shampoo has built in conditioners. Coal tar stops scalp irritation and reduces oil production. Furthermore, coal tar solution reduces almost all types of scalp inflamation. You don't have to use this every day. This is actually a good shampoo and is not extremely harsh on the hair like some others. Nizoral is probably the best, but I find it quite harsh on the hair.
