I haven't seen that dude, Wolfeyes, on here in a looong time. Did I miss some reason/post why he left or has suspended posting? Cheers!

I think that he cut his hair a long time ago. I can't really remember why, though.
He was pretty heart-broken after his longtime girlfriend dumped him. Nice guy. Great hair. I was sorry to see him leave. Don't know for sure if he cut his hair; but I do remember him posting that he was thinking about it, --- so I can only assume that he must have.
In a lot of Native American Indian culture, it is not uncommon to cut one's hair when grieving (especially at the death of a significant person in one's life). Wolfeyes was not Native American; but British, as I recall. But I mention this as an interesting point, because I believe all humans react similarly to loss and grief, --- and often want to change or remove whatever emotionally reminds them of their loss.
Hope the above paragraph doesn't sound too strange, --- it's just that I've had a life-long fascination and interest in Native American culture, and deeply respect their thinking and rituals. Grief is a funny thing. It can take on a "life of its own". I imagine that if I lost a love that meant the world to me, I'd probably cut my hair, too (although I hope I would grow it back).

Wow. He was a pretty good guy helping others here with lotsa' info. Well, I wish him the best either way.
The loss of a loved one is quite akin to losing a part of oneself. I understand the rationale of it. It -is- pretty interesting.
