David beckham always has good hair, so i have taken a couple of his pictures to show you what styles i would like to have.
What do you think? Not as long as some of you on here would like to have your hair, but that is not my aim.
Each of us has a different idea of what we want. I think any that goes against the "norm" is cool. Go for it.

I couldn't agree with you more, Bruce! Plus, thought I'd also comment on DaPs original thread, which is titled, "The kind of looks I'd like to have." Well, who WOULDN'T want to have his looks?? That man is definitely drop-dead "GQ" handsome, as well as has great hair!!!!! Now, as far as the rest of us mere mortals go...

Well I've been told before that I look like David Beckham from several people...That make me one step closer to immortality? lol
Anyway his hair is kind of crazy, stringy, and way too dyed. I don't see the appeal.

People tell me I look just like Tom Cruise, ---
only my hair is blonde (with a lot of grey), instead of brown;
also, my smile isn't quite that gorgeous...
and I'm considerably much older...
and I'm also over-weight...
and I wear glasses...
and I'm gay...
Oh, WAIT! I almost forgot: rumor has it that Tom Cruise IS gay, --- it's just that he enjoys the insides of closets...
So, maybe that's all that Tom & I really have in-common afterall!

Hmmmmm.Yeah,I see a resemblance.I don't think he ever really had long hair.I've heard those rumors for years.If he is some jilted lover will probably out him some day.

The point of growing your hair is not always to attain some super length, and long hair cannot be defined always as "when it reaches point 'x', then you have long hair." The point, it seems, would be to grow the hair you want and like and feel comforatable with. Medium length styles like Beckham used to have are very cool, and the advantage is that they can be reached sooner. While I say I am going for as long as possible, it might turn out that I one day find myself satisfied at a length less than that, and this, I don't think, is a bad thing. Either way, your choice, and good luck.
Yeah, like the others said the point of it is grow as long as you want. What truly makes a longhair is his spirit free of concerns about what others think about him.
I'll also grow to terminal length (but just to see how long it can actually get) after that I'll cut it to whatever I like the most. If I get damage sooner or it doesn't look good I won't even grow it to terminal.
What do I think? Definately go for this style if this is the one that talks to you the most of all. It IS long hair afterall and you desire it at this length. Should be very easy to attain this. One thing however, you have to have similar type hair to have it resemble this as close as possible.
