hi all at mlhh.....its been a while since ive posted but ive been busy settling into university and college life on top of other tihngs.
anyways...my hair has been doing well...not long till shoulder length and ive been wearing a tail often for the last few weeks.
my only problem is that the worst has happened...ive got tiny splits forming of about 1-2 millimeters...im totally paranoid of split ends and i really dont want to have to go for another trim....so im wanting to know how long i can actually leave the problem..will they travel fast? and if so will my hair be ruined? im wanting more length before a risky trim (hairdressers often take off too much as you know)
i remember that some members snip off splits individually. Is this very effective if heaps of time isnt spent on it?
would i be able to eliminate most splits if i simply get a centremeter cut or so off my length?
thanks guys for the support...and i look foreward to participateing more often on the boards like before :p
The "split-ectomy" method is most effective in not having a scissors-happy stylist chop off more than you want. IF you know someone who you can trust to ONLY take off a tiny bit you might save some time in seeking out individual splits.
i dunno but i was thinking that especially with my semi curly hair type it would be difficult to actually be able t metholodically go through all of my hair without missing bunches.
