I love how Willie Nelson looks in pigtail braids. His whole persona seems to really 'stick it to the man'...LOL...so I like that too. Franny did these for us..
Then she put my hair in a bee-butt bun. I have to say I love how it feels in my hair and I'm sure it would be great in the hot weather.
Franny's talents never cease to amaze me, once again they look great! If I could braid my own hair I'd probably have them in pigtail braids.
Jason, your hair looks really amazing, good job, keep it that way.
Another series of great braids and the bee butt bun is very handy! You can use it when you shower and don't want toget your hair wet, do other sporting activities, sleep with it.
Nice, those pigtal braids really do look amazing, as well as the bun, i'm actually a fan of Willie Nelson, love his music, maybe i'll grow my hair like his someday, lol:)

I am one to also play around with different hair styles and i have to say that i wear the Willie and BeesButt all the time. And yes, the BeesButt is perfect for the hot weather of Louisiana.

Two ENTIRELY new styles! I couldn't think of anything more Franny could add to all the styles she has already demonstrated, and she never fails to disappoint me, she has come up with two totally new ones. I remember seeing the bee-butt bun on Gollan's website.
I still hope you show us what you have learned from Franny. I hope do the 3 strand braid on Franny's hair, looking forward to the pictures!

Well, Jason, I've never been a fan of pigtails on either women or men--but you, of course, manage to carry them off spectacularly.
I'm a big fan of buns, too (oops, that didn't sound right!) Every now and then the back of your neck needs to breathe.
Looks pretty cool.I wear a bee-butt bun when I work out.It's cooler and stays out of the way.

Hey, man, excellent set of braids you've been doing. I'm a bit late in telling you, but you know they're awesome anyway. :P Franny is really a whiz.
On another note, pigtail braids are a great androgynous style - think Vikings and their women. In my opinion, the Legolas braid was the coolest one, but these are quite good as well. I wish I could braid half as well, or could find someone who would - most of the girls I know who can braid have this rather scary urge to rip out hair when they grab it. Maybe it's a sign that they actually want me to get a haircut, lol.
