It's been a long time for me posting, but here is my update. After getting a lot of trims the last few years, I stopped 6 months ago getting trims. My first goal is midback, and if I will get there I'll probably think of a new goal. Well here's the first picture:

Everything is looking great there, Wessel! You have healthy, thick, wavy hair with great colour that will look awesome when it reaches your goal of mid back. Perhaps you may consider growing it even longer when you reach your goal.

I know what you mean about goals, sounds like we have the same goal. When we get to that we will move on from there :)

Scary look! :D It's cool to see a red-hair around here, it's wonderful! Red hair goes very well with fair eyes (and that's usually the case due to lack of eumelanin and a fair amount of pheumelanin)
Red hair is also thick and yours is no exception! Just wait till it gets longer :O
I really appreciate all those great comments! It's got me really motivated to keep on growing my hair for the next few years!
