Okay, I know it sounds like common sense. "Wind blows hair around". But the least little tiny bit is enough to mess up the work that it took me to get it combed straight and down in place. You know how those hair product commercials advertise for more body, bounce, or whatever? I guess my hair has too much. I need to weigh it down. I've seen other people with hair my length and the wind doesn't seem to affect them, at least not as much as it does mine. I'm 17 years old and I don't have a driver's license, so I ride the school bus home every day. Now that it's spring time, people start putting their windows down, and sure enough, my hair is everywhere and in the way. I'd like to avoid the ponytail for as long as I can, at least until graduation. It's just not really my style, you know? Is there any other way to, I don't know, get my hair to "calm down" a bit?
Well, I would recommend applying some hair spray to keep it in place. Another solution would be wearing a baseball cap. If you don't like the spray or cap, Maybe you can try an alice band. Well, thats all i can think of. Hope this helps.
I have baby fine hair to about three fourths down my back and I know whay your going through. It also becomes a tangled mess after
being in the wind. Spraying can help but it still may be an issue. Gel may also help if you have thick hair whereas mine is fine and gel makes it look thinner. As much as you don't want to do a pony tail if it's just for short periods of time then you can take it out. I always carry a band in my pocket for emergencies
Looks like that's what I'm going to have to do. I'll need to get a hair band some time in April.
