I've had some doubts about my hair lately. I put my pic on some of those pic rating sites and got bombed, while N-sync lookalikes were winning.
It might be that most of the voters were 15yr. old girls. Also, the pic is not that great, and I look arrogant. Smiling probably would have been a better bet.
Actually, I don't see how I deserve all those 1's. I start to imagine the pic is terrible, but then I look at the pic, and it's just not THAT bad. A mid-range(on average) score seems more reasonable to me.
( I'm disillusioned with this whole pic rating thing- I disagree with many of the average scores. UNREMARKABLE, half-naked women often fill the top 10's for instance.)
I tried http://pickthehottie.com, and lost to a bunch of fresh faced guys, and an old fat guy with a funny hat. I beat a guy on a toilet.
I've withdrawn all the pics except one, because it has a comment section I like.
Actually this site(Ekissable.com) is weird- the highest rated guy rarely breaks a seven.
I'll try my pic link below, or here's one to paste.

About the only place I know of right now where long hair is kind of mainstream is Pro Wrestling, like WWF.
That made me feel a little better.
I think it's a great pic and I gave ya a ten! But then, I'm a bit biased toward longhaired men so...*eg*
I've seen other sites where you could vote and leave comments, and the longhaired guys always had stupid things posted about them along the lines of "get a haircut" etc. Think of it this way, do you really want such narrowminded kneejerk sheep to be attracted to you anyway? ;-)
That may be the problem there. If the people on these sites are 15
year olds, then they are going to be dissappointed with anything unless it is N'sync.
Also don't go by these sites....a while back one of these contests
was won by someone someone from the Howard Stern show.
Well, it's also not at all uncommon in the computer field, and of course in music & support services such as pro sound and lights.
Why in the world would you care what the opinion is of some unidentified strangers hiding behind a "ratings" web site??

mostlty the guys vote 1's on all the guys they see, maybe they don't, but when a guy sees a longhaired man he's voting a 1!
girls may dislike longhairmen but it are the (shorthaired) guys that hate em!
Thanks for those votes of confidence(or pity), people! I have a comparetively formidable average on that site now.
I probably wouldn't have given my pic a ten; a peak in the 5-6 range would have seemed acceptable to me. It wasn't magazine quality or anything, and I know it's not incredibly popular right now.
There's at least two other long hair guys on there, and one had a ridiculous 2.67. It's a guy with a guitar. Don't know the addresses.
About Pro-Wrestling, I guess I meant media mainstream. I saw a ponytail at a computer on Monster.com or somewhere.
I wasn't going to make a decision based on those pic rating sites though, especially when many other averages make little sense to me.(black and asian women often get curiously low scores, even if they look like models)
I rarely give anyone less than 4 on those sites, and that's when they have food in their teeth or something ridiculous like that.
Ridiculous! Computers don't have ponytails, or it would sure be quite a Monster!¬) However, there have been instances of HUMANS with ponytails who were at the computers!
Dang! You're a really good-looking guy with excellant hair (and this comes from a straight guy). Consider the source. I read an article on this type of site and the demographic is largly teens. Teen aesthetics tend to focus on whatever of whoever is in vogue at the moment-- thus, the N-sync types. We happen to be going through a period in which the media often uses long haired men to symbol an outdated attachment to the past ('60's, hippies, etc). This will pass. I've know plenty of women who would rate you highly.
Why would you wish to subject yourself to such an audience? Just believe in yourself and your loved ones.
I don't put much faith in surveys.
Maybe a teen who thinks he's smart found technical loopholes and voted a hundred times.
Many of the surveys are rigged. If the audience was gathered from a source of people who are attracted to a particular celebrity who has short hair, the bias of that population sample isn't representative of the whole population.
You don't deserve a 1: I gave you a nine, but as a non-member it might not count!
Every little bit helps, yes-no?
