Franny is leaving tomorrow unfortunately. We took advantage of today to try a new style which she described as listed above. There are three strands on each side which then combine together in the middle to form a three strand braid.

I got inspired by that legolas hairstyle you had so i tried it.And now I always wear it when im going/doing something.
It is much better than a ponytail when it comes to keeping the short hairs out of my face.
And my grandmother liked it too=)

Dude. That is one of the most beautiful braids I've ever seen. It's so simultaneously simple and regal. What a fitting end for Franny's braiding series. I must admit I'll miss them. They were quite creative.
Now if only I could do any of them...:P

This has certainly been a treat to see, Jason! Sad to see the end of your adventures in braiding (at least with a partner), but it has provided some inspiration and ideas for me down the road. Thanks for sharing! =)

I have to say that this is a fitting end to an awesome 2 weeks of Franny's artwork on your hair, simply outstanding. Her skills are amazing. Hopefully, you will have a chance to return the favour by braiding her hair at some future date.
I have to add that the sunlight really brings out the best in colour in your hair, emphasizing how much red is present, it is really evident in the top picture. In fact, the similarity in colour of your hair and the building in the top right of the picture is particularly striking.

I want to extend heartfelt thanks for all the comments about my various braids as well as Franny's. I'm sorry I haven't been able to respond individually. It's been a great ride as I've long wished to have these put in my hair. To find a woman willing and capable of doing these braids has been amazing. Of course, Franny's visit was amazing in many other ways too! :)
Jason...the braid pics have been awesome! I'm sure that some are more complicated than others but, on average, how long does it take to do braids like that.
