I recently had a trim last week (first trim since December 05), I don't have any pics yet but will get some soon...
Anyhow, the person who was doing the trimming was telling me about some sort of hair treatment they offer which removes build up from your hair, caused by hard water and other things. They said it was good for my hair and that it wouldn't leave chemicals or other such things in it, but "clean" it, rather. I can't remember the name for it. Has anyone ever heard of this or tried it?
I don't know what you're talking about but in this board they seem to mention that clarifying shampoos get rid of bildup. I should look for such one myself but I wonder how would that be called in Bulgarian, damn it! lol
And my parents are really conservative so I'll need to save money (I don't even talk to them about my hair care and they still think I fuss about it)
Hmm, I'll have to go back sometime and ask them what it's called. I guess it's not much help if I don't know the name of it!
But they described it as something that gets rid of buildup, especially from hard water. I figured it might be a good idea, but I wasn't sure if it was damaging or anything.
I believe you're talking about a clarifying shampoo. That stuff is great but oh-so drying. It'll strip pretty much everything from your hair except for the hair itself. :D
I use the kiwi-lime (or whatever it's called) by VO5 because it's cheap, smells good, and cleans pretty well. Suave also makes one that isn't bad, but I like VO5 products better. Make sure to follow up with a good conditioner and don't use it every day!
Hopefully you spot this message.
