short-time lurker, first time poster. thanks to absalom for turning me on to the board. i'd been playing with the idea of cutting it all off but you guys have inspired me keep it. thanks!

Greetings: You've got a great head of hair there. Usually in a First Post one's hair is MUCH shorter. You're already "there!" Actually there have been lots of former "lurkers" posting lately who already have quite long hair. Then there's the rest of us...still in the trenches (lol). I am glad to see that you decided to keep your hair long. The vast majority of longhairs who cut their hair will later on regret it. One thing to remember: what takes years to grow takes only minutes to destroy.
This board exists to support men with long hair and to support men who wish to grow it long as well. Prior to the creation of this board 10 years ago, the only place longhaired men could go was to discussion boards geared towards women.
