DETROIT A Detroit judge says a charter school must reinstate a ten-year-old honor roll student and clear his record for expulsion.
Rodell Jefferson the Third was kicked out of school in February for wearing his hair too long.
A judge yesterday ordered Old Redford Academy to return Rodell to his fifth-grade classroom and to remove all references to the detentions, suspensions and expulsion. The boy lost 15 days of school this semester over the haircut dispute.
Rodell's father contacted the A-C-L-U because he says the boy's hair was never longer than a half-inch.

Stupid people like the principal that got this kid expelled shouldn't be allowed to be in a position to judge anything. They tried to make me shave at my school, I proved too tough for them :).
Peace
