What I used prior to comeing here.
What I use now.
I hope I did the pics right.
Hi Quester, You in the UK.? I used exactly the same.!
No accually I am on the west coast USA. I have that in my profile but they don't have time to put it up yet.
So what made you change the products that you use? Man! I haven't posted here for forever! Yeah, Garnier Fructis is great, only I use "Dry and Damaged" for both shampoo and conditioner...long hair's great...
Hey...wasn't there an 80'sMetal dude somewhere here? There are a few familiar names, but he ain't here. Oh well, nice to stop by.
I am on the never ending quest to find shampoo+conditioner that works for me, so is that green stuff worth trying?
I like it alot. It took out most of the frizzies for me and got rid of static flyaway altogether.
Too bad it smells like rotting fruit! Hehe. :P
(I've got a bottle too, but never use it because of the strong smell)
Garnier is really good stuff. I've been using Garnier shampoo for a better part of a year now, and I had been using the conditioner for a long time too. I recently switched to Pantene hydrating curls conditioner though. I find that, unlike shampoo, I just can't use the same conditioner for an extended period of time. I'm probably going to start getting a different type of conditioner every time I run out. I'll more than likely get some Aussie conditioner next time. I've heard some good things about that brand from this board.
It's always interesting what works for some people and what doesn't for others. I tried the GF conditioners and thought they were watery and somewhat ineffective. On the other hand, they have a fortifying/volumizing shampoo for fine hair that's pretty good. I tried their shampoo for length and strengh for hard to grow long hair and for awhile last year I thought it was great but as my hair got longer it began to do nothing but cause tangles. Now I'm alternating between Suave Clarifying and Bed Head Control Freak which is incredible stuff. No tangles, even 24 hours later which is a new "record" for me. Aussie seemed to discontinue their Knot Forgotten detangler so I switched to the Pantene Pro-V Full and Thick and Daily Moisture Renewal conditioners. They have been doing a good job. the Bed Head shampoos are expensive but because I use a tiny fraction of them compared to conditioner I can make a shampoo last months. the bed head companion conditioner is insane. around $14 u.s. for 8.5 oz. or roughly 240 ml. I'd go through that in two days so I'm not even going to try it.
