Well to get straight to the point im no longer a long hair.I decided to shave my hair off to grade 1ish to see what it looked like and what can i say accept ive made a big mistake!!.Ive let myself down and ive let my fellow long hairs down :(.I shall start my long hair journey once again, however its going to be a long journey back.I really dont feel right having my hair so damn short and this is quite possibly the stupidest thing ive ever done and i cant tell you how down i am about it.
Hey...
I'm so sorry that happened. You know, sometimes people have to make mistakes like this to learn from them. Now you know you are a long hair down to heart. Don't worry, your hair will get back in no time, you'll see...
I wonder what was the lenght you had before you cutted it. We're all here to suport you and help you through your journey again, so don't worry and just thow the scissors away again. And don't ever cut your hair short again =)
I wish you the best luck and hope you'll recover from the shock fast. Good luck fella! =)
Hey
Thanx folks for your kind words you already have made me feel better.Ive posted a pic on here before im not sure if its about in the archives but i dont have any of my long hair pics left on my PC.My hair was shoulder length before or just under. If im honest when i look at them just makes me feel sad and makes me feel like a big idiot.Once again thanks for your support and i cant wait to get growing again!!
It's really sad to hear this but don't worry, it will grow back! Besides, you rarely make mistakes like these again because of the consequences you once experience (it will remind you not to shave it again)
Then again ,if you really wanted to shave it or acted on impulse it's still good you did what you wanted. People should do what they want and now you want to grow it back! I hope you have fuN! :)
Lets see some before and after pictures please!
Don't worry too much mate, it'll grow back.
I did the same thing a few years ago, just before my last year of high school. I maintained that #2 all over shave until graduation, then vowed never to do such a thing again, as I'm sure you have.
Try to see it as a positive thing. The knowledge you've gained from the experience will serve you well. In my case I actually learned to like my short hair; it made waiting for it to grow much easier.
Oh
Dear
So sorry to hear that ! Your like a flower losing its petals then :-((((((((((((

Sorry to hear about that, my friend. Many of us have been down a similar path. Whatever you do, don't get down on yourself or feel you have let us down in any way. The thing to remember is that we all learn from our mistakes! I'm sure you will be more determined than ever in your new journey, be sure to keep us updated, we are here for you.
Take care,
David
Perhaps the best way to look at this is one of the greatest learning experiences of them all. Now you KNOW long hair is for you without a doubt.
What's done is done and cannot be put back together in a jiffy. But it CAN be grown back and in several years I doubt you will repeat yourself again.
Please don't beat yourself up over this. MOST TIMES, (but not always) a guy who posts to this board that has great long hair and tells that he is going to have it cut ends up sorry in the end. It is almost like history repeating itself over and over and as long as I have been here, the results usually end up the same with much regret. So, you are not the 1st to have had this happen to yourself.
Best of luck to you growing your hair out all over again.
Hey Brother: I agree with the rest of the folks...we learn from EVERY decision we make. I've cut my hair from long to short twice. Each time it was for a good reason so there were no regrets BUT a longing to grow it back soon afterwards. Time will pass and your hair will grow and as a wise guy here once said you'll grow as much inside your head as on top in terms of resolve, patience and determination. Be Cool - Bruce'ster
Well, if it makes you feel any better: I cut my waist-length hair off in Y2K, --- and regretted it pretty much instantly. The hair stylist that I asked to cut it short even reassured me afterward with the following comment: "Just remember, your hair is growing, even as we speak!"
The one plus-side that happened to me when I did this is that it made me COMMIT to never cutting my hair short again, --- in other words, I learned the hard way!
Sounds to me like you're a longhair "on the inside", regardless. If you were not so, you'd be happy with short hair, and that would be the end of your longhaired journey...
And don't worry about disappointing others... Being a longhair is all about what makes YOU happy, and following your own sense of identiy, --- and taking that path (in spite of others around you who may not like it).

....the journey is half the fun and we are looking forward to watching your progress !!

That must be hard but the good thing is that it will grow again..you just need a little patience..ok..a lot of patience..soon enough you'll have your hair long again, don't worry. I hope it doesn't get way too hard for you. Best regards.
