Hi Everyone!
My name is Daniel, or Danny as some prefer. I've always looked this board over every once in a while, since I thought of growing my hair out I guess. I've been growing my hair out every once in a while for the past 2 years. By that I mean, I started to grow it out in January of 05 but ended up cutting it in Feb of 06 because I got tired of almost everyone I know telling me how much better I look with short hair. It was about 10" long and I chopped it off down to 1/2" with the sides shaved down with a 1 clip on a blade. but this past June after I volunteered at an event in L.A. I decided to grow my hair out, regardless of what others thought, regarldess if they didn't like the way i looked. I figured they could look the other way if they didn't like it and they could keep their opinions to themselves about my appearance, after all, I kept my opinion to myself about their looks. ;) Anyway, Long story short, I just wanted to post a note and a pic to share my own little story and milestone with everyone on here. My hair is growing a little faster than the first time. It's been about 10 1/2 months and my hair is 9.5" long. It's hard to tell from this pic, I'll try to get another. Welcome to the hyperboard, it's great you have found us, this is an aweome community! Your hair looks great, thick and healthy. Hopefully, you are now growing it for the long haul, best of luck in future growth. Your hair grows fast, 9 inches in 10.5 months is far above the normal rate of 6 inches per year.
