Also, its easy to see in the color photo, but the very front parts of my hair are very short, is that a sign of breakage?

Nah, the front wispy hairs are just the ones that will replace the hairs that will shed, it's perfectly normal. I have them too

The black and white photograph looks more interesting. I would definitely choose it over the colored one. As for those little annoying hairs, I have quite a few of them too. I think they are new hairs that are growing and will eventually replace older hairs that are shed. Pretty much what Mihnea said below.
Hi Rome, you have such striking red hair, it would be a shame not to use the colour photo. As for the short hairs, they are probably new replacement hairs growing in. I have these short hairs too, even though much of my hair is over 3 feet long.

You Serious I wouldnt choose your Black & White pictures over your Colour ones as we would never beable to see you Striking Red Hair no more and that would be a Tragedy in itself your small lengths of hair are reinforcements ( Well thats what I call them ) For the ones you have lost I got them to everyone on this board should have small lengths of hair to NO Worries you got GREAT Red Hair :-)

As much as I appreciate the artistry displayed by using a B + W photo, I thought I should add that I prefer the colour photo for the simple reason that the red colour of your hair is so striking and truly rare. It would be a shame for this not to be evident in your avatar.
