hey ya'll, in case no one here remembers me, I'm the kid whos fighting his school for the right to play in sports, particularly football, and still have long hair. Today, Martin, the head football coach, and the cause of all the trouble Ive been through, volunteered for this charity event our school was having. He was to be taped to a wall in the cafeteria. A student would pay $1 and be allowed to place a piece of duct tape on him ANYWHERE they wanted to. EVERYONE was wanting to tape him. This one student, placed a piece of tape on a certain male area and Martin ripped from the wall and punched the kid. He then Started cussing out the kid and the school and stormed out. Rumor is that hes gonna sue the kid for sexual harrasment/ molestation. The kid is gonna sue him for assault and battery of a minor.
Martin had a great Friday 13th didn't he. If he didn't I sure did.
Wow! Apparently, he was not so great at working with kids...if you say ANYWHERE, people will put it ANYWHERE...
Whatever...

ya, you'd think. And with all the kids hes ticked off, everyone knew something would happen. The surprising thing is that he didn't hit me, I was told this by the entire football team and the majority of my classmates. I mean I'm the one who's been trying to get him fired all year and he hasn't been subtle about his dislike of me.
What a dumb thing to volunteer for! If I ever volunteered to be duck-taped anywhere on my body, I would assume that would mean, "ANYWHERE". Personally, I'd be more upset if someone taped over my hair than if they taped over my jeans in the crotch area; but, I guess that shows you where my priorities are (lol)!!

I hear ya. but he did volunteer for a ghood cause. last year the principal at the school volunteered and the school raised over $500. If he could have controled his temper, we would have easily doubled that this year. The entire football team had broughbt at least $1 in a peice. I brought $5 myself....
This is life imitating art!! This could not have been better if it were in one of those school movies like Ferris Bueller's Day Off or Fast Times at Ridgemont High!! I wish I had been there--I would have died laughing!
Your hair is still long I assume?
Oh yea. I haven't cut it a single inch since I was first told Id have to cut my hair if I wanted to play (American) football.
And I have no plans for cutting it anytime in the future.
That's insane. Everyone should be allowed to have the hair as they want, even if they play football. I know at least about one long-haired (on shoulders) football player (but I know nothing about football). Even if you'd mean rugby (not soccer) there are helmets, so the hair shouldn't be any problem.
But the taping people on wall is even more weird. I can't imagine that someone would be willing to get taped on wall and I personally wouldn't spend any money on this. Its undignified. No wonder that the guy stormed out.
Well, obviously someone remembers that America was once a land of freedom, but probably since last time the Patriot movie appeared in TV.
But I really wonder what these charity money would be used for. A bribing of school bahadurs?
Sorry, I keep forgetting to put American Football in my posts. The money is donated to March of Dimes. An orginization that helps premature babies.
