I just this picture lurking on a forgetten sub-directory on my computer. Oh dear what a difference 7 years makes!!! I remember those days of brown hair and not so much grey.
Like I've said about this photographer he don't like taking his own picture but I suppose this one is okay.
Cheers,
John.B
I would have to say that this one is VERY OK, John, looking GREAT there! I have to agree, 7 years can be a long time, I recently found some old pictures on my work computer, since I NEVER took pics of myself back then. Seven years ago, I had short hair, no beard, and a lot less grey than today. Thanks for sharing some of your history with us.
Cheers,
David
Well David I've never heard of the "very ok" expression before perhaps it's an expression I've not heard from that part of the world.
As for the hair history I never really bothered as I've been busy taking pictures behind the camera.
For me it's a great experience growing my hair out and perhaps something I should have done along time ago. It's something to be proud of and if nothing else just to show people in a positive light.

Hi again, John
Actually, the term I used, "very OK", means, in my book, that it looks GREAT or SUPER, in other words, FAR more than just OK! My apologies for the confusion!
David
Interesting to see, John. I actually found a gray hair last week while I was brushing. That was certainly not something I expected at my age, but I had been quite stressed lately, so it probably shouldn't be that much of a surprise.
Anyway, I think the gray gives you a more distinguished look and adds character. It works for you! =)
Keep it growing!
-James
Hi James,
I think I found my first grey hair when I was about 17-18.
As for stress it can be easily to control and the way I handle it is to think of something funny and it really works.
Cheers,
John.B
Ah but those were the days my friend....we thought they'd never end...but they did so oh well. LOL As I have not posted a pic yet I think I need to get butt in gear and do that.
thanks
Kevin
Thanks Kevin and we all look forward to picture update and keep it growing.

Hey John
What a great photo! :-) Now, how in the world has something as nice as this been "lurking" for 7 whole years without being noticed? Thanks so much for posting it for all of we guys.
Just got back from "lurking" myself in the Pacific Coastal Mt. Range 1/2 way to Tillimook.
Take care and thanks for posting a photo of yourself.
Justin~
Thanks Justin for your kind words. As I said before I try and capture the photogenia on film rather than being caught on film myself.
It sounds like you live on a lovely part of the world and perhaps in 2008 when my next west coast tour comes up, I'll drop in down your way.
John.B
John, you are coming to the states? I hope you drop by the SF Bay area too. I would like to meet you too. I live reasonably close to Bill, just across the bay.

Time sure does fly. Your hair looked AMAZING and STILL CONTINUES to look AMAZING! You should post pics more often because you certainly have one great looking mane.
All the best
Hi John
You certainly look different now. I'd say you look better with greyer hair.

A SolFed Person (unless the conference is really boring, in which case I'll quit and go nihilist)
Definately some change! About the grey - I like it as it is in your hair now. It doesn't make you look old to me ^^
amazing how time flys though, isn't it
