How curly does hair have to be before it is considered curly and not just wavy? Not sure if this is a stupid question... :-|
Hey Kyle, it is a rather smart question. Do a search for Fia's hair typing system. This gives a very thorough description of hair types, all you would ever need to know.
For an example my hair type is 1cF-Mii.

Thanks so much for sharing this info, Scott! I just check's out Fia's Hair Typing System. and believe my hair to be just one notch wavier than yours, at: 2aF-Mii. That site is GREAT to know about!!

Wow! A bear code for hair!
The Sierra Club rates hikes like that, too.
But nobody pays for classified ads by the word anymore. My hiking club, as do quite a few bears, just prefer nowadays to use a few words of plain English.
Bill (left wondering, though, what makes a "thick" beard ponytail....)
Hi there Absalom :) I looked into my hair type a while ago and found this article. It goes into a little more detail regarding the hair types 1a-4b but doesn't even touch on the overall thickness of your hair (the i-ii-iii types) or if it is Fine Coarse or Medium. I think perhaps people may want to check out both sites? The link is to the article I found, they have pictures of actresses with those hair types so it also gives you something to compare it to ;) I myself would say I am 3bC-Miii
take care!
