Hi everyone,
Well, I guess it's time for a little update from the Dad of the hyperboard! (thanks, Axel, for that term!) It's been 3 years since my last trim, in April 2004, and two months since my last update here. There's not a huge difference in the hair, but the beard has filled in nicely. I am currently trimming the beard to maintain it at around an inch, or two months of growth. (A special thank you to Bill for encouraging me to grow the beard)
Last year, for close to 8 months, from Dec. 2005 to Aug. 2006, I was sure my hair had stopped growing, and actually have proof of that, due to abuse of my hair. After I found the MLHH, I learned how to care for long hair, and it is thanking me for it now, it IS growing after all.
I ALWAYS blab too much before getting to the pictures, so without further ado, for whatever it's worth, here they are.
A typical front picture
A side picture
Someone recently asked for a tail picture, so I tied a low, loose ponytail. Normally the tail is a bit longer, but I tied it low here.
Hair thrown over the shoulders, shows the beard a bit better. What is fascinating is the number of colours in my beard, mostly dark, some gray, and my brother pointed out last weekend that there is some RED as well! (where did THAT come from, lol!)
In the back picture, the hair doesn't seem as thick, but the condition is better than a few months ago. There is also some thinning at the crown, but not too bad.
Here's what the back looked like 6 months ago, for comparison
And the front 6 months ago, no beard, and side part, and a worried, concerned look on my face (THAT'S why I don't try to fake a smile, lol!)
Well, I've overworn my welcome, that's FAR too many pictures, I know, but it is 3 years, after all! Any comments are MOST welcome.
David
Hi David,
Thanks for posting the updated pictures.
Wow that's amazing and what a difference 6 months makes and you hair and beard are looking in wonderful condition. I'm glad that you have managed to get some great tips from the community and you certainly have made a welcome difference that's for sure. I certainly think that the addition of a beard certainly enhances you look and better depth to you face.
I like the first one and it's always nice to see a contented smiles as well.
Keeping it growing and you have reach a great milestone.
Cheers,
John.B
Thanks John!
Thank you so much for your compliments! I really do credit the hyperboard for everything, I have learned SO much since last September about how to care for long hair. I have never had a beard until Bill encouraged me to try growing one in January, I really can't begin to thank him enough.
Cheers,
David
David your hair and beard are looking great man.I might think of growin a beard later down the line but ill let my hair get longer first.Once again great growth there David!!
Hi Y2J,
Thank you for your compliments about my hair. The beard is totally new, my first in my life. I was encouraged by Bill to try one back in January, I really can't begin to thank him enough for his encouragement.
Thanks again,
David
Hello David! I have to say that everything looks super, hair seems to be in perfect condition, you're whole new looks suits you!
I remember you complained before that you had a long neck, well it isn't even noticeable at all now that you've grown out your beard, it looks great!
As soon as all the dye from my hair is gone i will try to grow it out again, because i want only my natural color to grow out:)
Simon
Hi Simon,
Thanks so much for your kind words, I really have the hyperboard to thank for the improvement in my hair, I could not have done it without the help and encouragement of everyone here.
I am definitely looking forward to your new journey with your new, blonde hair.
All the best,
David
Hey, David, first happy 3 years! That's an honourable mark and you should be very happy. Whatever problems you had before with growth they're past you. For 6 months it has grown considerably! And as you might see it is a LOT straighter so no need to use that hair straightener again, huh? ;] It looks great and the beard is awesome too with so many colours interwining.
Don't worry about your hair growth for 6 months it appears to be normal or even faster (but that might be because your hair is now more straight) Good luck in your future growing and thanks to the MLHH you've learn so much about hair care.
Hi grrrrr,
Thanks so much for your compliments and encouragement. I am SO glad I stopped using the straightening iron last September. It is true that my hair is straighter today, it was a dry day. My hair still gets wavier in humid weather.
Keep up the great work with your growth, you have a lot to look forward to in the months and years ahead.
All the best,
David
Lookin' Good "Dad" (gosh, that make ME feel young ! HA!)
I really like the low tail look and the beard suits you well.
Thanks for Sharing
WWT
Hi Walter,
Thanks for your kind words. I really have Bill to thank for encouraging me to grow the beard, I had never grown one in my entire life until I started in January.
All the best,
David
">
Dave.
I like the ponytail picture. I hope my hair gets as long as your hair is one day. I think the long hair looks great. You mentioned you had some short hair pics you found I would love to see them for a comparison so I have inspiration that it will get that long with waiting and patience
Rich
Hi Rich,
Thanks for your encouraging words. I have attached a short haired picture to give an idea of how I looked before. I should be easy to pick out in the group photo.
You have a lot to look forward to yourself, I am definitely looking forward to an update from you.
Keep it growing,
David
Dave,
You are a handsome man with either long or short hair
Rich
David,
Firstly I'd like to thank you for your active participation both here and at LHC. You are one the most supportive and kind individuals I have met on the boards.
I think your hair's condition continues to improve as it also lengthens. I was particularly struck by your ponytail pic! Your hair looks super thick and glossy.
Also, is it my imagination or is your crown area thickening some? I know you've been on propecia for a while now. It's exciting to think that it has already begun to work!
Regards,
Jason
Hi Jason,
Thanks so much for your kind words. I am SO glad you introduced me to the LHC in January, both the MLHH and the LHC are such awesome communities with so much support.
You have always been one of my greatest inspirations, I can't thank you enough for all your support and useful advice along the way. Perhaps some day, I might be brave enough to try some of the awesome braids you and Franny have worn.
That's wonderful you noticed the improvement in the crown area! I didn't mention it in my intro to the update, but I did notice it in the comparison pics, it's great you noticed it! I am not sure if the difference is due to the camera lighting, or if indeed it is thickening. That gives me real hope that my goal of belt length may be achievable.
Thanks again,
David
Wow, David! Your hair has grown a lot in the past 6 months, congratulations! I really hope the growth rate doesn't stop, you're doing a wonderfull job so far =)
About the beard, I'm going to be honest with you, I think you looked better without it. But, if you like it that way, I say keep it! =)
You seem to have come a long way, let's hope for another beautyfull 6 months of lots of growth to you!
=)
Hi there, João,
Thanks so much for your kind words, your hair has always been a real source of inspiration ever since I discovered the hyperboard last September, you will reach your goal of waist length before you know it. (I also noticed you have passed 100 posts over at the LHC, time to start a photo journal of your own!)
All the best to you and your lovely sister,
David
David,
All I can say is WOW! What wonderful progress you've made. You look better and better the longer your hair gets, and I'm very happy that you did the ponytail picture. It gives us a much better idea of just how thick that hair is. I love the beard, too.
It's been a pleasure getting to know you both here and at the LHC. Keep on growing, David!
Fondly,
Franny
Hi there Franny,
Thanks so much for popping in, I am REALLY looking forward to seeing your new avatar picture, I hope Oren gets it up for you soon. I really appreciate your kind words, the pleasure has certainly been all mine in getting to know you over at the LHC as well as here.
Your braid pictures of yours and Jason's hair are a real inspiration, I hope to try braiding my own hair someday.
With fondest regards,
David
Looking good David!
Wish I could see a before picture so I could see the progress you made. Being new here, I've only seen you with your long hair. =o)
Hi DeeDee,
Thanks so much for popping in to say hi, and for your kind words. I did find a short haired picture which I have attached, it should be easy to pick me out in the group photo. I have also included some short-haired pictures in my photo journal over at the LHC.
My very best to you,
David
Wow!
Thanks for sharing! I had no idea...
You really have come a long way.
Congrats! =o)
Very nice update indeed, david! I have to say the beard is looking very good on you...it definitely filled out and looks awesome! Before my father shaved his beard 15 years ago he had brown, grey and reds as well. I have browns, blonds and reds for now.
Anyway your hair is looking very healthy, too. It's obvious you've been taking good care of it. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
Hi Gman,
Thanks for your kind words. I am SO glad Bill encouraged me to start growing the beard back in January, I had never had one before and am thrilled with how well it has developed. I was really surprised to discover the red amongst the mostly dark hair and small amounts of gray, I did not realize I even had any red hair in my genes, MOST fascinating!
I really credit the hyperboard to my improvement in overall hair health, I can't thank everyone here enough!
I am really looking forward to your next update, your hair and beard are awesome!
Best regards,
David
That is some spectacular growth, David! I can't believe it's been six months since those other photos were taken... how time flies...
Anyway, just imagine the results of another six months. You're doing great! =)
-James
Hi James,
Thanks so much for your enouraging words! It is amazing how time flies, isn't it, I can't believe 6 months has passed so quickly myself.
I should add that I am really enjoying your journey to long hair, keep up the great work with both your hair and that fabulous website, really an inspiration to the new people joining the MLHH.
Best regards,
David
Hi "dad"
your hair looks awsome
it hair has grown a lot in 6 months
but i think you would looks better with a shorter beard
a.
Hi Aleksander,
It's "dad" here, hehehe! Thanks for your compliments about my hair! I am maintaining my beard at the 1 inch mark, or about two months of growth, I don't plan to grow it any longer right now. I understand that not everyone likes longer beards, it really is a matter of taste. In fact, I had never had a beard, and had no desire for one, until Bill encouraged me back in January to grow one.
My best to you,
David
Wow David
I NEVER expected an update as fabulous as this. Your long hair as well as beard look fabulous! Too many photos? No way. Those are photos to be proud of and I am so happy for you that you stood your ground in continued growth and didn't cave in along the way as many have done. Are you EVER in the drivers seat now.
Truly great inspiration for all on this great Hyperboard to see.
All the best-
Justin~ :-)
Hi Justin,
Thanks so much for your wonderful words. In fact, when I first discovered the hyperboard back in September, it was your 4 year update that was the first one I saw, and a real inspiration to myself.
I also wanted to specially thank you, Justin, for your continuous support and encouragement along the way. I really could not have come this far without the encouragement of you and everyone else on the hyperboard.
My best regards to you,
David
your looking good there!
to me you do look much better with the beard
but then again I do like beards
Thanks for your kind words, Ron! I am so happy that I grew the beard. I should add that you have a great beard yourself, keep it growing!
All the best,
David
Thanks, and yes I do plan on keeping the beard
and hair growing
Hi David, top photos mate. The difference in the condition of your hair is pretty dramatic, im well pleased for you. You were one of the first guys that gave me a bit of advice about growing out my hair a few months ago when i found this site . You always give good advice and words of encouragement, and to new boys , even at 45 it is appreciated. All the best mate, Jonny H uk
Hi Jonny,
Thanks for your compliments about my hair! I am so pleased that I was able to do my small part in helping you on your journey to long hair. Be sure to keep us updated in your journey.
Best regards,
David
Wow, I'm impressed! Your hair is looking superb and your beard compliments your face nicely. And too many pictures? I don't think so! Thanks for sharing.
Keep on growin'
Bruce
Thanks Bruce!
I really appreciate your kind words, I really credit the MLHH for much of my progress over the past 6 months and the overall improvement in my hair.
I do believe you mentioned an update of your own, after tax season was done. I am certainly looking forward to it, hopefully you plan LOTS of pics, unlike the single picture in your last update!
Keep it growing,
David
The beard has minimized your "long neck" look even more than I had hoped for when I suggested it. It looks great on you! Nice mane, too, David.
I think it's fair to say that most people will not even notice now that you have a long neck.
Bill
Thanks Bill!
I really wanted to express my heartfelt THANK YOU for encouraging me to begin growing a beard back in January, you have really been my inspiration! I had NO idea it would turn out so well when I started growing it, as I had never had one before. I am keeping it trimmed at two months growth, or about 1 inch, of growth. It is so thick now that I have to COMB IT, lol! My feeling is that I could grow it a lot longer if I wished, it is something I might consider down the road, possibly when I retire.
Best regards,
David
What you have now is what I had in mind when I suggested a beard would break up your "long neck" look. To grow the beard longer would start making your head look longer again, in effect undoing what you've done on that score by growing the beard you have. So I think you are making a decision that will give you the results that you wanted.
Glad growing out the beard has worked so well for you!
Bill
Amazing! I am flabbergasted. Your appearance has transformed within months To a much better looking one!!!! I can see your hair has gained some VERY NOTICABLE length these past few months. Congrats! As for the beard, What can i say, It looks "AWESOME"(HA!). The salt and pepper thing you've got going on is great! I noticed 6 months ago your hair was much shorter and the ends seemed a bit wavy...Have you been messing with Straighteners DAVID!!!!!! Just kidding!;-) I am sure you can thank gravity for the straightness. Well thanks for sharing this inspirational update with us, DAD! Just kidding again!
All the best my friend,
Chris H
Hi there, Chris,
Thank you so much for your continuous encouragement, you have been with me EVERY step of the way and I can't thank you enough! I see you caught both "insider jokes", Chris, both the "DAD" joke (where is that Axel hiding, lol!) and the "Awesome" one, lol! You are VERY observant of everything that goes on at the hyperboard.
I really credit the support of everyone here at the hyperboard for the improvement in my hair. I NEVER touch those evil straighteners, lol! Actually, I had a good hair day yesterday, when I took the pics, the weather was dry and my hair is straighter then and also appears longer because of that (cheating, perhaps, but I guess we all do that, lol!). In humid weather my hair does get wavier and is prone to frizzies and looks a bit shorter, but possibly a bit thicker.
All the best to you, my friend,
David
Your hair and beard look great!!Keep on growing!!
Hi there, chamogirl.
I am SO glad you popped in to say hi, and a heartfelt thank you for your kind words. It is just wonderful to see so many members of the LHC stopping in to say such kind words, what an awesome community we have both over there as well as here at the MLHH.
My best to you and your family,
David
hi Dad!!(lol)
hey Dave...wowza man!!what an impressive update.first of all,the beard has gotten much thicker than in your avatar.yes, about the red..I have some red in my beard too!!second, your hair has really taken off!!there's a huge difference from the picure of september 06!!I see your ends have gotten much straighter since then, how did you manage to do that??I see from your photos here you are much happier with your appearance then in September, when you had that concerned look on your face.and as Bill said,I don't even notice a long neck anymore lol.
as for me,I gave in and shaved off the beard,it was getting too itchy and annoying.all is not lost though,I at least left the goatee and soul patch hehe..it seems my goatee has thickened up considereably since last year.
all the best!!
-Jacob
Hi there, Jacob!
Thank you, as always, for your continuous support, my friend. I really have to give Bill credit for starting me on the beard journey, I had NO idea how I would look with one, and I am thrilled beyond words with the results. Speaking as a scientist, I was really fascinated when I discovered the red in the beard, it was my brother who pointed this out to me when I was at his place for Easter dinner. Don't worry about your beard, you WILL be able to grow one with a few more years on the clock, why do you think Axel called me DAD, lol!
I had a good hair day yesterday when I took the pics, the whether was dry and may hair does get straighter in drier weather. I use a small amount of leave in cream conditioner when my hair is damp, this may also help it dry to a straighter state.
My best to you, keep growing that THICK mane of yours!
Dave
(PS- I saw your pics over at the LHC, they DO like you over there, HEHEHE! Are you blushing yet, lol!)
Hello dear David !
Wow , what a change !
you hair are really beautifull and your beard so thick !
i dont see pictures of you often so each time im really happy to see one.
Great hair for a great man :)
Cya
My hair Journal
Hi Angel,
Your words are EVER so kind, my friend! My heartfelt thanks goes to you. I am really looking forward to an update from you, I hope you were able to solve the problems you mentioned earlier, your hair is so thick and wavy.
All the best,
David
Hey David, the pics are fantastic! I really like the hair and the beard, they look terrific on you. The beard looks like it would be a lot more work to care for than your hair even. I hope you are enjoying it, it is a big change in your look :)
Great progress with the hair, it looks quite nice and healthy too. Keep on growing it!
Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for your kind words, my friend. I should add that I am thrilled to see you back on the hyperboard. I am the world's worst worrywart when it comes to thinking about how you are doing these days.
Actually, the beard is a piece of cake to look after. I give it a once weekly trim to maintain it at an inch, or two months, of growth, and just wash it normally in the shower. It is thick enough now to actually require combing, lol!
I really credit the improvement in the health of my hair to the great help and encouragement of everyone here on the hyperboard, I can't thank everyone enough!
All the best to you, and may you get better soon,
David
Your hair has definitely grown, David. Whatever you're doing to take good care of it now, keep it up. The beard is lovely and thick too, and suits you well.
Keep it growing!
Mouse
Hi Mouse,
Thank you so much for your kind words, it really is a pleasure having you as a member of the hyperboard, you have given SO much support to ALL of us growing out our hair.
I should add that it is a genuine pleasure seeing your progress pictures. I really look forward to following your progress in the months and years ahead as you grow out your lovely wavy hair.
Warmest regards,
David
The hair and beard look great very healthy and thick you've done well.
Hi Kevin,
Thanks so much for your compliments, my best to you.
Keep it growing,
David
Congratulations on three years growth! Your hair is definitely getting long.
Ed
Hi Ed,
Thanks for your encouraging words. Your hair has always been a genuine source of inspiration to ALL of us on the hyperboard and to hear these words from you is a real encouragement to guys like myself.
Thanks again,
David
GREAT pics, David!!!!
And I can't beleive that beard of yours: VERY impressive! That's sure a lot of growth in such a short time. It looks wonderful on you... goes with your hair like salt & pepper, peaches & cream, ketchup & mustard, ham 'n' eggs... you get the idea (lol)!!
And most importantly, Happy 3-year Anniversary!!!
- Ken
Hi Ken,
It's GREAT to hear from you, thanks for your compliments. You always have SUCH a great way with words! When Bill encouraged me to grow my FIRST EVER beard back in January, I never in my wildest dreams expected it to turn out so well. In fact, I had never even desired one until I tried it out. My plan is to maintain it at its current length of an inch for know. Possibly, when I retire, I might grow it longer.
My best to you, Ken, as always,
David
Wow! What a magnificant change.
The new look really adds character.
Best wishes.
Jeffrey.
Hi Jeffrey,
Thanks for your compliments, it's great you weren't on the road this time and didn't miss my update. I am thrilled with how things are going, and Jason even commented that he thought my crown area was thickening and improving, VERY encouraging news indeed!
My best to you,
David
Hey David (or is it "Dad?": Wow man! I've had a "down" weekend (physically)and was about to hit the sac when I decided to check the board and I'M GLAD I DID!!! Your hair looks great! I'm so glad it's growing again! You made it happen with your education and hard work! AND the beard REALLY suits you! It filled in really nicely. Mine doesn't have as many colors as yours anymore; wish it did. BTW is your brother supportive of all this stuff? Hope so. (mine is not) I'd say you're back on track after those 7 or 8 months when you were so worried about things. Glad you can "smile" a bit more nowadays and (as you said) have lost that worried look! (lol). It seems you've reinvented yourself in a big way my man.
Right On - Bruce'ster
Hi Bruce,
Thank you so much for your encouragement. I really credit my improvement in hair growth to the fantastic support, encouragement, and advice of all the members of the hyperboard, there is no way I could even begin to thank everyone enough.
I don't really know if my brother Alan is for or against long hair, he has never said anything negative, that is good. One thing he did notice was how much my hair had grown since I saw him last a few months back. Sometimes you don't really notice your hair growing until someone else points it out to you. He was VERY impressed with my beard, however. He has had a beard most of his life, this is my first one. He is three years older and his fairly short beard is almost totally gray. I am REALLY happy that I have so many colours everywhere, light brown, dark brown, gray, and now red (along with blue eyes), hope it stays that way for a while. I NEVER intend to use dye, and plan to let any gray come in naturally and gracefully.
I noticed you said you had a "down" weekend, I hope it's nothing too serious, my friend.
Peace to you, my man,
David
Cheers David!
Congrats on your 3-year anniversary. You look great and your beard is...as Californians say...way kewl. (took me several years here before I mastered the CA, sort of valley talk...LOL) Your hair is looking super indeed, gives me hope that I can achieve similar results. Way to go.
Kudos,
Max
Hi Max,
Thanks so much for your kind words about my hair and beard. I really have Bill to thank for encouraging me to grow my first ever beard. I am so happy to be a source of inspiration to you, you have a great head of hair and a fantastic beard that will be truly awesome as the months and the years go on.
My best to you,
David
No way!
I didn't even know you were growing your beard!
Congrats on 3 years, wow!
Most impressive! Any goals or plans in mind for the beard?
~Rome
Hi Rome,
Thanks for your compliments, I really appreciate it! I really have the great community here at the hyperboard to thank for the improvement in my hair, a really terrific group of people and the best place on the internet right now.
My beard is the first one in my entire life. Bill encouraged me to start growing one back in January, I am thrilled beyond words with the results! As for future plans, I am maintaining it at about an inch and don't plan to grow at any longer right now.
Keep up the impressive growth on that fantastic red hair and beard of yours.
All the best,
David
Hey
David
Looks very striking indeed life in the old dog yet as I can see lol please dont take it personally though your an awesome very kind hearted guy it was one of the main reasons I tryed to join the website but sorry it wasnt to be hehehe you will have to use chatroom on here or the messengers to get to talk to me id like a chat with you one day as I would with most on here but i wont posted my e-mail here to public for my liking.
Im impressed with your update even though I cant decided weither you look good in the beard or not oh well take care for now !
Axel
Hi Axel,
Thanks so much for your warm words. I took NO offense at all to your calling me Dad at all, in fact, I got a huge laugh out of it! You are a real gentleman to mention that I am a kind hearted guy, I guess I am just one who cannot stand mean people. It really does mean a lot to me to encourage both new guys starting out their journey to long hair, as well as giving a little pat on the back to those with longer hair who have accomplished something to be proud of, it can mean so much.
I have never tried the chat room myself, I should try that some day. It is too bad you could not join the LHC, that really is an awesome community with lots of support. I know they have some rules about having private email addresses, but have you tried contacting a mod over there to see if exceptions could be made, I'm sure they would love to have you on board!
All the best to you,
David
Wow, wow, WOW, Dave! The hair is loooking shiny and nice, but, WOW that beard is coming in rather nicely! I couldn't get anywhere near that volume and it looks so good on you!
Congratulations!
Shawn (Mr.Crow)
Hi Shawn,
Thank you so much for your kind words. In fact, I do recall, even before Bill encouraged me to grow one, that you planted the seed of thought about me growing a beard. It was around Christmas time, and I had briefly wondered in a post to the board what I might look like with one, but didn't have the nerve to try one for fear of giving my co-workers a heart attack! You suggested I start slowly, but I didn't take up the challenge at that time, even though I had some serious thoughts then. It was Bill's suggestion in January that really kick started me, I am overjoyed at how well it has turned out! I plan to maintain it at it's current length and thickness for now, no plans to grow it longer.
I also want to extend my warmest to your lovely family, you have SO much to be proud of and your daughter is absolutely adorable, her smile has the ability to melt the heart and bring tears to the eyes of anyone here on the hyperboard.
Keep those manlocks growing,
David
Looking good David. Keep growing the beard too.
Absalom
Hi Scott,
Thanks for your encouragement and kind words. I have a long ways to go to reach the magnificence of your mane, but I am certainly trying my best!
All the best,
David
Hi David,
Your hair and beard are looking great!
- Oren
Thanks Oren!
Your beard has always been a real source of inspiration, probably one of the most magnificent ones I have ever seen. I don't really plan to grow my beard any longer than it's current length of an inch, but the sky is the limit as far as my hair goes, I am planning terminal length for it, whatever that eventually turns out to be.
All the best to you,
David
Congratulations for the growth! And keep the beard, it suits you! Maybe waist length for both..?
Cheers
Alessandro
Hi Alessandro,
Thank you for your kind words! I definitely would love to achieve waist length hair, my goal is that or even longer if possible. For now, I plan to maintain my beard at its current length of 1 inch, I may try it longer in the future.
Cheers,
David
Well, David, if you can stand one more person telling you your hair and beard are looking great, here you go!!
Have you tried a braid yet? I really think it would suit you.
Keep it growing!!
Hi Randy,
Thanks for your kind words about my hair and beard. I would LOVE to try a braid some day, I just need to acquire the skills and the nimble fingers to try one. Perhaps, when my hair is a bit longer and I have more length to work with, I'll try a simple one, and go from there.
Thanks again,
David
(you have a great new avatar pic, btw!)
Hi Pops:
Just want to compliment you on your progress; the hair and beard are really looking good. It's nice to see one of us "Old Farts" making such good progress.
George
Hi George,
It's "Pops" here, another of the "Old Farts" club, lol! Thanks so much for the compliments. I am anxiously an update from you, hope to see one soon!
Keep it grwoing,
David
Fantastic update David! Your beard is looking spectacular - it really suits you. I think you can definitely class yourself as a true longhair now!
Hi Pablo,
Thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate it! I am looking forward to your next update.
All the best,
David
David;
(Dad) - lol
You're doing awesome. An inspiration for all us short-haired persons! Keep it up..
Tristan
Hi Tristan,
Thank you so much for your kind words, I am glad to be an inspiration to you, as many of the guys here have been an inspiration to myself. I am looking forward to your future progress.
All the best,
David (Dad, lol!)
David,
The hair's looking AWESOME and you've come a long way in comparison with the pictures from the past. Your beard has gotten a lot thicker and longer and the different colors look really cool. Your hair is in better condition than ever.
Keep it growing!!!
-Mihnea
Hi Mihnea,
Thanks so much for your kind words, I really have the wonderful people here on the hyperboard to thank for all the recent changes in my hair and beard. Your hair is rockin' as well, my friend, I always enjoy your updates, you have a great "hair future" ahead of you!
All the best,
David
Wow David,
Your hair seems to be growing faster lately and looks great, The beard is coming along great also. Keep doing what you've been doing. Does the beard itch at all?
Later,
Chris
Hi Chris,
I am SO glad you found my update, I really appreciate your kind words. I must be lucky or something, because my beard NEVER itches, considering the fact that it's my first ever one and is at about an inch of growth. (The length I am currently maintaining it at)
All the best, still hoping to meet you in 2009!
David
I think you should grow that beard longer (and hair too)it would suit you. Anyway keep up the good work
Hi Tom,
I nearly missed your reply as my update had scrolled so far down the page. Thank you so much for your kind words, I definitely plan to grow the hair as long as possible, but am maintaining the beard at its current length for now. I may grow it longer in the future.
All the best,
David
