How many of you guys have tattoos? Most of the longhairs I've seen have at least one. Maybe it gos with the look? I have a tribal one on my left shoulder blade.
I have none and no piercings which seem to go with tattoos. I dont know if long hair goes with tattoos but I am excited to see what the majority say.
Rich
the majority would say peircings and tatoos go together, but I like tattoos and totally despise peircings.
yes
No tattoos here. No piercings either, for that matter.
Let's see a gryphonon my left hip, a dragon on my right, a tribalon my right foot, both nips pierced and both ears twice pierced. How's that?
I'm afraid I don't believe in tattoos or piercings. Those are major turn-offs for me. :P
Nope, no tattoos... very large phobia of needles.
Maybe an earring or two down the road. We'll see... =)

No tatoos, no piercings, and no plans for either
High!
Sometimes I daydream of being covered in tattoos from neck to toe, preferably depicting lush swamp vegetation in greenish and brown hues, exotic flowers blooming all over me, snakes coiling around my arms and legs... but I have no serious ambitions towards it, knowing it would be very expensive and probably horribly painful!
See you on www.khyberspace.de !

Ever time I consider getting one, I ask myself whether I can imagine enjoying it when I'm 60. The answer's always no. I'm 35.
I'd love to have one or 2,just to complete the look, but they certainly aren't as important as having long hair.anyone with me??
Agreed indeed Jacob Mane is more important
I currently don't have any. Not because i don't like them but because i can't afford them at this moment. I certainly agree with Jacob and Nyghtfall. Long hair is more important to me now and i am not sure if i would enjoy them once i get old. I guess thats why if i were to get any i would get them in non visible areas ;-)
Ditto
Me neither Never found anything striking by paying someone to stick needles in me but everyone to his own !
Axel
None here. I'm not opposed to them on other people don't care to have any myself goes for piercings too.
Two...one large ivy tattoo working its way up from my right ankle to my hip...the second is a capricorn symbol tattoo (my birthsign).
I have 18 of them so far--here are a few.
I dont have one... im not so sure about getting one because I detest needles unless I had to have one.
i have 62 im 17 and what do you think about that !!!!!! my hair is not to ling and im a female
I have a tattoo of Christ carrying his cross on the inside of my left forearm and I like it a lot. I also have three earrings, and I figure long hair, tattoos and piercings all go pretty good together.
I occasionally think about a tat; but, not high priority with me right now. My partner has 3 of 'em, and I have a good friend that is covered in tatoos (& looks dynamite on him!!)... But me, no.
Just before my 40th birthday, though, a female friend of mine suggested I get an earring, and that it would look really cool with my long hair.
"I already tried that when i was 21, --- it looked HORRIBLE on me!", I told her.
"Then maybe you pierced the wrong ear.", was her reply, "People's faces are not perfectly symmetical: try the other ear."
So, on my 4oth birthday I pierced the right ear, instead of the left, --- and have been happy with the look ever since!
A side comment: at one time, piercing one side vs. another meant you were either gay or straight. Quite frankly, I don't remember now which side meant which, --- and don't care! If people are going to mistake me for being straight... well, then that's their damn problem (lol)!!

what happens if you pierce both ears?does that mean you are bi??(lol)
It means you're CONFUSED (lol)!!
Uh-oh! I guess I'm confused then! I've got both ears pierced...
Sidenote: I don't think people put as much emphasis on left ear/right ear/both ears pierced as they used to. I used to have just my left ear pierced since I was a teenager in the 1980s (I'm 34 now). Then in the 1990s I got my right ear pierced too so I had an earring in each ear. I wasn't ready to come out to the whole world and just wear an earring in the right ear.
Well, it worked - it certainly made people wonder! I had a few people ask me if I was gay or why I had earrings in both ears, or I'd just see people doing a double take to see both ears. Back then, early to mid 1990s, I was one of the few guys with earrings in both ears, but now it seems to be even more common than just one earring in the left ear. I can't imagine myself without earrings now (or long hair). That would just feel wrong.
Tattoos? None (yet). I go through phases where I absolutely want one, then at other times I'm glad I don't have one. But, I can se myself eventually getting one, once I get back into shape! (even though I can't bear the the thought of the pain I'll have to go through).
My blog, with more pics and weird stuff
I have my eyebrow peirced (plan on having the other one done) and that would be it...
I also have one tattoo on my right forearm and plan on having more, tattoo's are a personal thing and should have some sort of meaning behind them...alot of people want them for the "cool" factor, just as with long hair...
Alot of tattoo's can enhance a persons look and can always tell something about a person...some on the other hand can look terrible .. =)
I guess you can add me to the bunch too. My ears are also pierced in multiple places as well.
Absalom
Most certainly not.
Given that many people do not like tattoos and tend to frown on those with them is the supposed connection of long hair and tattoos not a bad one for the acceptance of long hair?
I have never had any tattoos and probably never will. I am not a fan of needles myself.
David
I've got "two" right now. I say two, but my fiancee disagrees since they're both half-sleeves (elbow to shoulder), and one's made up of quite a few smaller pieces.
Also rock a few piercings, mostly the standard stuff (lip, eyebrow, ear).
Tattoos? Tattoos? Anyone have any tattoos?
Here's one of mine.
The seven-eyed, seven-horned Lamb of Revelation.
And one of my favorite marionettes.
The wort-cunner, some would say Old Crone.
More to follow!
NE CEDE MALIS!

Cool tat, Quenyan! I, too, had thought that would be an interesting tattoo, yet never got it. I've never been able to find a clear picture on the web of it. Would you happen to have a decent pic of it you could email me? Thanks.

Thank you for your kind comments, Mr. Splat!
Pat Fish does spectacular (mostly) Celtic work. Her site is on the net. Last Rites, started by the Luciferian Paul Booth, does mostly Left Hand Path, horror, and gore designs. His stable of similarly inclined inkers has grown steadily. Then, shwew, there's Guptal Singh. He's world renowned for reproducing classical art masterpieces (!) as ink. Outreal, man, simply outreal. As for the Lamb of the Revelation, hmn, well, there's a full back piece on some guy floating around the backroads and byways of the information superhighway, but, hey, I ain't got the URL for it. But, I DO need to have mine redone; most of the color lifted. I t was REALLY colorful, man. You could always have a customized version done. Gotta run, "Coast to Coast A.M." is gonna start now! KEEP IT GROWIN' and INK WISELY!
Yours in inked and longhaired camarderie,
Quenyan (+;-)}
Whupsadaisies, Splat!
A VERY, VERY NECESSARY CORRECTION IS IN ORDER!
I said that Gupta Singh did classical art masterpieces in ink. Oh dear. I think not. He's a suicide cult leader. He sez a third o/t world should partake in a suicide lottery, ya know, kinda cull back the population. Yeesh!
I HAD MEANT to say the world-renowned tattooist Anil Gupta. His establishment, based in NYC, is called Inkline Studio. His work is beyond believable. Go see his site at http://anilgupta.com and prepare to be amazed. However, I think that there might be a two year waiting list. So, go, get your number now.
Yours in longhaired and inked camaraderie,
Quenyan (+;-)}
I don't really like tatoos, unless they are very small and discreet. Then sometimes I do like small ones, but I wouldn't want one on me. I did see a woman with a nice (small) tatoo on her forearm, earlier today. Also, it seems in keeping on a sailor, but unlike many of my forebears I never went to sea, and that isn't something I'm going to take up at this stage.
My wife wants to get a tatoo, and I'm not dead keen on that, but I see it as being up to her. To be honest, I do worry about what my parents would think if my wife got a tatoo, but I don't think it would be right to pressure her not to get one. I just hope she gets one that she can hide when visiting them. As a matter of fact, I think her parents could be a bigger problem.
I'm not too crazy about body piercings either. She hasn't talked about getting anything like that (yet!), although her ears are pierced, but I don't mind that atall. Somehow that's different.
As for earrings, I like them, but have no real desire to get any for myself. I can't remember which ear is which, either! When I see a guy with one earring I am always scratching my head trying to remember.
I think if I ever got earrings I would have one in each ear, just because I have this thing about symmetry, and because I would be afraid of getting the wrong ear done by mistake(!), but it isn't likely to happen any time soon. Probably never.
I don't like needles either, but I don't think it would make any difference to my feelings about tatoos even if needles didn't bother me, I still wouldn't want to get one. I don't allow bumper stickers on my car either, and those aren't anything like as permanent!
