Hi guys :) I've posted some pics of myself over several angles, showing my hair-length at the 1.5yr mark.

Hey Jin, You're hair looks really cool. I am from Taiwan and I am also growing my hair out. About 8 months so far. I have really wavy hair and it is really frizzy. I can't wait til it gets long enough to weigh down. You are an inspiration to me. Cuz I have not seen many Asian people with long hair. Are you in college. If so, what do you major in? I'm a Singaporean and is currently staying in S'pore. I'm a post-graduate from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Engineering. My major is in Structural Engineering.
I have a secret love for long hair (both on males and females) since high school. But I couldn't have it long 'cos of lots of restrictions from school and the military (as you know S'pore, like Taiwan, males have to go through a compulsary military service).
This is my second time that I'm growing out my hair. The first time round, I grew it till mid-back. It took me 2 years from 1997 to 1999, only to be cut off for military service in Dec 1999 (boo-hoo...). Incidentally, I was in Taiwan for 1/2 yr between Jan~Jun 1999 and had hair similar to my present length while I was there :).
I haven't got a haircut since Dec 1999 :) Hope the military will not call me up too soon as my dream length is to my waist.

Hi again Jin, Thank you very much for writing back to me. I really appreciate it. What do your parents think about having long hair? I don't think my parents really mind so that is cool. I am so glad I don't have to join the mandatory military system becuase I live in the United States. Have you ever been there? Do you think your work would mind you having long hair? If not, I want to major in that too. Or possibly computer-related work because I have heard they do not mind long hair. I also have a secret love for long hair. I think long hair looks really good on both sexes. What makes me mad sometimes is when I see short hair on a hot girl. Cuz short hair does not make them very attractive. Anyway, that's my opinion. Would you have any tips for my hair. It is just past my mouth and at a really bad stage. I have thick and wavy hair. How do you part your hair. I part mine in the middle. Thanks a lot, Jin.

Great hair...you say you have been growing your hair for 1.5 years...was it quite short when you started? Have you measured the length lately? The pictures are terrific!

Thanks again :) Yes, I've started from a standard military cut of about 3".
My present length is 18" when measured from the tip of my forehead (a method which is internationally recognised). About 15" when it is measured from the middle of my temple (which I feel, is a more accurate measure).
All the while, my hair grows relatively fast and I'm currently on Biotin 600. I hope to achieve mid-back by September :))
What about your pics? I would very well like to see them too. Do post them if you can :)

No, it's not. As I've mentioned in that message, that pic was taken about 4~5 months ago, which is at about the 1yr mark.
