Hi everyone,
Words cannot even begin to say how much I appreciated all the wonderful replies which I received for my 3 year update, which I posted on Sunday. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect so many replies! I tried to reply to you all, it is SO important that every single person who took the time and the courtesy to reply be tahnked personally. The ability to have such a place of warmth and kindness that we have on the hyperboard is truly special, a true refuge from today's society. Again, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

No need to thank anyone, we are just giving the support that you give everyone else on this board (as the dad of the hyperboard:P). You have always been very supportive of everyone's hair no matter the length, condition, etc.

I missed your update Sunday and it's way down the board now. But, I must say I think your coming along well with all of it, and I just knew you'd dig the beard once it cam in good. Congrats, and thank you for being you.

Hi David, I actually did have a look at your update today (again, very nice), but didn't post a comment to that thread since it was further down and you might have missed it. That's why I posted what I would have said in that thread to this thread.
Thanks for the beard compliment, but you may be underwhelmed when you see the next update for I cut the beard short a month or so ago. But, it's thickened back up again. The hair's still coming along but I've been up to my ass in alligators with school and everything else going on around me, so probably won't have time to make a proper update until mid-May, which actually will be fitting as being one year since the chop-job I submitted to in May 2006. I think the last picture I posted was in January, so yes, it has been a while.
Thanks Matt, I realize now I didn't properly read your first reply, I thank you for your kind words, and apologize for not reading it fully.
I tend to be the inquisitive one asking about guys' updates, lol, the old "dad" of the board (thanks AGAIN, Axel, for that term, but I DO find it funny!) is FAR too nosy these days! It's just that I am really enjoying your return to long hair after that unfortunate episode you had last year that I read about in your reply to Jacob's update. You have such wonderful, thick spirally curls that I seriously think will resemble Bodhi's hair down the road, and am thoroughly enjoying the progress you make to that goal. I can't wait for mid May!

You're a good man for thanking everybody personally, and with all the comments you had that must have taken you all night long :)
You have more patience than I do, I used to try to answer all the posts too but last time I went for the "one size fits all" kind of lazy approach. It is possible to do it your way if you are as patient as you.

It did mean a lot to me to be able to thank everyone, I felt that the few hours I spent thanking everyone was time well spent, the personal touch really does make the people having the courtesy to reply to my update feel a little more special.
I just love the hyperboard and everyone here, I really feel my life has changed for the better since I found it last September. As for being on the crew, awesome being words, what else can I say?

My God, so many stores one goes in today lack any form of a "Thank you" with the exception of a SIGN to read on ones way out the door. Just pitiful.

I really agree, the personal touch means SO much, it makes the person making the comment feel a bit more special by being thanked personally. I agree with you about buying things in stores these days, where IS that thank you with a smile that used to be a sign of genuine care for a customer in the days of old.
