Hello all
Maybe you know but , i have (or i had :p ) really dry hair and i also have (had ? ^^) itching scalp problems...
even if the shampoo that my dermatologist gave me worked , i still had some itching and my hair became more and more dry so i think it was time to find a solution and i tried water only washing.
i explain how i did :
in the shower i just wet my hair and massage my scalp and rince and rince....
my hair took really time to dry but.. in fact my scalp was so oily that it neved dried lol
but after 2 wash the skin seem to regulate the oil pretty well, now my hair are soft and shinny and my scalp doesnt itch or hurt at all
and when i brush my hair i have very few snaps and my hair are more maneagable mais hair doesnt smell too bad but more like fur
here are some pict that i post as an update
Traditional front pict :
back one :
and another pict to show the hair better
WO is so good that i think everyone with dry hair (or not) should try this at least one time !

Hi Angel,
I am so glad the water only wash is working for you! Your hair is looking truly outstanding these days, I am so glad you provided us with an update! Your hair has incredible thickness and has lots of shine, and appears to be growing very quickly. It also appears to be getter straighter as gravity takes over. Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing your pictures with us.
Keep it growing,
David
That´s great to hear mate! I know how frustrating it is to have an itchy scalp so I´m glad you managed to fix it. :)
Looks like water only is working out quite well for you, Angel! I can see some definite progress since your last pictures. Any reason you stopped updating your online journal? Anyway, your hair looks great! Keep it growing. =)

Glad that you found a routine that agrees with your scalp. This is something that comes up over and over in WO threads...some people's scalp problems are caused by their scalps simply not liking any kind of product, and dropping products can cause a near magical end of issues.
Great update pics Angel
I am glad the WO method works for you. I have dry hair too so I can try it and see how it goes. I tried conditioner only wash once and it left my hair a tangly mess that was hard to comb out for some reason. This may be the same but I can try it see what happens
Anyway super pics there, terrific hair
Superb update and your long hair is looking fabulous!
So glad that you kept experimenting with what works best for your hair and seem to have found it. That's a difficult one for just about all of us.
Quick question for you ... I have similar problems and after reading your post I am going to try this. Do you ever use shampoo, or did you switch to rinse only permanently? Also, how often do you wash with RO? -Thanks
Hello all , i know i'm a bit late :( but it's better late than never...
I want to thanks you all for your messages , they gaved my a good feeling when i readed them.

@ David (Dad ^^)
i also think my hair seems to grow very quickily.
Im very happy that the gravity straight my hair but if my end are so curly, i think it's beaceause they are damaged
@ Brian
For the moment i do a WO every 3 days , when i used shampoo i used to wash my hair every week, but now without shampoo my hair become greasy more quickly so i need to rince my hair to remove the exess oil.
I'm still experimenting with the frequence of wash, and i need to brush my hair a lot to clean it.
Thanks you all again for your support , im gonna remake my hair journal but with a lowest frequece so you will be able to see the change over time.
