Just wanted to say hi from the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. No, I didn't fall overboard! I'm on a cruise to Europe and will be in London for 3 days, April 26-28 before heading home. I found out through practical experience that hand lotion [at least the stuff on this ship] makes a decent hair conditioner. At the San Francisco airport, I had to dump my GF conditioner because it was in my carry-on and was a 10 oz. container. Since my main luggage was already checked, dumping it was my only alternative. Oh well... ;) They don't sell ANY hair conditioner on this ship! :(
At $.65 per minute, I'm not checking messages much while on board. At the hotel in London, they have WiFi. [YEA!]. Anyway, catch you later and keep it growin'!

I am sure that hand lotion works well as a conditioner, but a nice cruise is also great for the hair. Actually I bet that being on deck with the salt wind would be really hard on your hair. Well all of us jealous landlubbers are expecting some pretty pictures when you feel inclined to post them :)
Seriously I am delighted you got to do this my friend, it is a rare opportunity, enjoy it for us all :)
Hi Rick,
It's great to hear from you, it's been a long time since I've seen you post here, so WELCOME BACK! All the best on your cruise, "Steady as She Goes", so to speak, and have a wonderful trip across the ocean.
Congratulations on finding a solution to your hair care after the loss of your bottle of conditioner, great to know hand lotion is that useful in a pinch.
All the best to you and have a Safe and Happy Holliday, looking forward to meeting you in 2009.
David
I have used it before but it left my hair very oily.
