There wasn't much to photograph off the interstate in Oklahoma, so I went for the wind, hair, and shadow shot.
Later, in Arizona. Kitschy (sp.?) rest stop featuring the "worlds largest petrified tree". The man on the teepee seems appropriately discontent.
Hey glad you are safe and sound on your long trek, sorry I didn't get to you see you off before you left but now you give me one more reason to get out to California, seems to be the longhair capital :)
Hey, you're almost here!

Great set of road trip pics Steve. I hope you enjoy the rest of the trip. Drive safe!
Very creative photo ... love it!!!
Be safe on the road, and enjoy the adventure!

Have a safe trip, Steve, cool photo shot, with the shadows of the hair. It's great to see you on the road to the "Longhair Capital" of the USA. Hoping to meet you as well as many of the other great guys on the hyperboard when I vist California in 2009.

Hey Steve, that is a cool shot. Have a safe trip to California, and hopefully you will have a smooth adjustment period.

Great pic, Steve!
Be safe for the rest of your trip. I think you should use the "shadow" motif more for the remainder of your travels!
Take care and keep it growin'!

What a fun pic, --- I'm gonna try that idea myself sometime!
Really looking forward to meeting you, once the dust from your move all settles down. Hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly. And, once you cross the California stale line... ALOHA!! (Oops, wrong state - lol!)
