Thanks for all the messages of support recently. I will stand up to my friends about my appearance choices because I am who I am. A true friend will see beyond mere appearances to the tender heart and kindness that lies beneath. A link to a recent blog where I make this stand is included. Better photos to be posted on the MLHH soon, hopefully....when I can get someone to be a photographer.

very well written about your hair on you website.
Has your friends seen it?
I just read your blog entry of Apr. 19th. I have to say, judging from what I just read, I'm very impressed with how articulate and intelligent your blogging comments are!
One addition tidbit of information, though, that you may want to be aware of: some of the charities that encourage longhairs to cut off their hair to donate that hair to children with cancer, etc., happen to have a cloud of controversy surrounding them. L.O.L. is one of them, as it is well-known that they have a huge over-stock of hair that they can't do anything with (yet they continue to strongly encourage longhairs to cut & donate). There are other members here that know more about this topic than I do; but just thought I'd at least alert you. You may want to consider donating $$ to a similar charity, rather than your hard-earned mane.

Great, make sure you keep it up! I wish more people could stand their ground and stop taking crap from others. :)
