I know this is being paranoid but I have to get it off my chest. I heard that if your ends are very dry they break and then your hair will not get any longer. The only solution is a trim. I have no idea why but I keep worrying after I heard that. I want long hair sooo badly now after seeing this site LOL. Am I being paranoid?
My hair is dry and breaks all of the time and mine keeps getting longer, so unless it's incredibly damaged it will keep growing.
Just let it grow, and when you reach your goal, or if it's getting really tangled, you can get a "dusting" from a good stylist who 'gets' long hair.
Yes you are being paraniod lol. I get like that too but who ever told you that probably want you to get your hair cut.

Your hair won't get any longer if you are always trimming! Try some oil on the ends and don't worry so much.
