Hello,
First of all, I would like to send out a warm welcome to all the new faces that we are seeing on the board. Welcome to the hyperboard, I'm sure you'll love it here!
Second of all, I'd like to say that all the updates from this month have been great! Everyone's making great progress and the hair's looking better than ever.
And lastly, my update!
It's been a very eventful month for me, many things have happened (both hair and non- hair related). I've noticed a difference in my hair from last month. It seems like the new conditioner (Suave coconut) is working great for my hair, I love the way it feels. It's starting to look long and feel long (but not long enough. then again, is it ever?;)
I have also started to do "seek & destroy" (copyrighted by Jacob ;)) split ending missions on my hair, and it's working really nicely. Despite the time that it takes, it prevents unnecessary loss of length that you would get in most regular trims. I'm thinking of trying oil on my hair too, I still haven't and would like to see how it turns out. I'll keep you guys posted on that as well
So without further ado, here's my outdoors/indoors update!

As for the water only wash, I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to try it on the weekend, I will let you know how it worked.

Wow Mihnea what a wonderful collection of pictures this month!
I really like the moodiness of the first outside picture because it has so much shadow in it, you have a serious and determined look. The second one outside by the fence looks great in a different way,you seem more open and relaxed, and so does your hair :) This pic gives a nice image of how long it has gotten recently, and it does look great believe me.
The shots outside with the sunlight really show well you have taken care of your hair. I like the windy one best, doesn't the wind just feel terrific in long hair :)
The tail and half tail pictures are awesome too, you have such thick hair that the half tail looks as thick as many full tails I have seen. Fantastic progress dude, be happy about it!

Your hair's color and thickness totally rule. The thickness is especially in evidence in the halftail pic - the tail is still very thick even in this style. Congrats and keep growing!

You got a great head of hair awesome condition it actually really thick to same as what Jason said the thickness is very visable in the pictures of you wearing your halftail. I hope you never cut it either as your born to have long hair it dont matter how you decided to wear it either looks good in all your pictures especially down to Keep it growing FOREVER duded

Ha! I actually almost wrote that same thing back when I made my introductory post a couple of months ago. I think my hair is more similar to yours than anyone else's on here. I can only hope that mine will look as good as yours does!

I just decided to check into the hyperboard one last time before going to bed and am SURE glad I did, I see a couple of great updates have shown up, yours and Jason's! Your hair is looking superb in these pictures, it is super thick and healthy with just the right amount of wave, and is it my imagination, has your hair suddenly started growing a lot faster? (How long have you been growing it?) Congratulations on a fantastic ponytail pic, that is ROCKING there!

Thanks a lot for the kind words David! You have been both an inspiration and a motivation to keep my hair growing. I'm not sure about the growth rate, cause I haven't measured it, but it does feel much longer than last month. I've been growing it for 21 months with an inch trim back in October, so that sounds about average in my opinion. Thanks again for the comments, your hair and beard are looking better than ever!

Your hair looks amazing! It is very thick and suits you quite well. My favorite pic was the wind-blowing-hair pic. It came out really nice. I noticed we have a similar hair color but i think mine is a little darker :-) Also, That DEATH shirt kicks butt \m/....Well, Keep the metal flowing and the hair growing....Take care
Hey Chris, thanks a lot man. My hair color is best shown in the outside pictures, because the lack of flash makes it look darker and the flash makes it look a LOT lighter. I was really surprised by your hair length in your update (I have only seen older pictures of your hair before it, including your avatar) and it's coming along nicely.

Hey dude, you have the SAME hair than me lol...I started to grow mine also approximately 21 months ago...But I'm getting trims every 6 months, so mine is maybe a little bit shorter and less thick than yours...
Are you like me, you just can't wait it reaches mid-back lol?
And I found a trick to reduce poofiness, I take my shower only before I sleep and I blowdry it. While I sleep, the poofiness is really reduced because I sleep on sides. Then the morning I just comb it. But anyway, your hair looks awesome so you're not obligated to try it lol...
And I see you listen to metal? me too..my fav bands are opeth, swallow the sun, Katatonia, Pain of salvation, slayer, etc...maybe you know some of these...I play guitar too. In fact I'm at college in music =P.
So let it grow and stay metal! \m/

To reduce poofiness, I either take a shower in the evening and let it air dry while working on other things, or just put it in a ponytail once it's dry if I shower during the day. I don't blow dry my hair because mine doesn't have the cold function and I've heard bad things about the warm blowdryers.
That's cool, my favorite metal bands are Death, Vader, Necrophagist, Decapitated, Cynic, Atheist, Sadus, and stuff like that. Mostly 80's thrash and early death metal, with newer stuff mixed in.

You have thick full hair with good length. It is really good to see so many young people growing their hair out. By growing it long, young people, like yourself, help to make long hair more accepted by all of society. Greater acceptance, by society in general, makes life better for all longhairs, regardless of age. Keep growing it for sure.

Hey man, haven't talked to you in a while! It's going good, right now I'm a bit pissed off, the guy at the store didn't put my strings in for me properly so one of them just slid out of the bridge. I'm doing it by myself from now on haha.

The beard is somewhat longer than what you see in the photo which was at about 2-1/2 weeks. I am keeping it at the 4 week mark which seems to work for me the best of all. Thanks for your compliments.

I've been doing updates since... January I think. But they were mostly 2 or 3 pictures and I have never done an outdoors update before. Thanks for the kind words, your hair is looking great too. I like the messy but not messy look of it (if that makes sense haha), it suits you very well and will look even better as it gets longer.
