It's been almost 21 months now, and my hair all ties back into a low tail! It could be a fluke this morning because I've started washing my hair with conditioner (look at LHC for instructions), and I missed the bangs slightly so they are a bit oily. But, from starting in August 2005... I've made it!

I can't wait for the 23 month mark, Gollan's ponytail in his progress pics looked great then and early that month is a music festival and I think I'll be one of the only longhairs there.
Congratulations!!! That must be a real freedom to have only a simple ponytail... Your hair definitely grows faster. Slowly, I'm reaching this stage too. I just have to wait for the front hair to grow about an inch.
Next milestone is the "loose ponytail", which is really a nice thing, just an opposite of this joke:
"Doctor, why does my daughter have so almost popped out eyes?"
"Loose the rubber band in her ponytail!"
I saw a lot of these when I was at a technical conference in Poland, where some guys and girls had mid-back hair, just like I'd love to have, and I was envious as hell!
Thanks :) At this stage I'm washing my hair with only conditioner, and finding one that works for longer than a few washes is proving difficult. L'oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss is my next option, I think.
