Hello everyone! It's been a little while now since i posted pics of my hair, but anyway i've decided to grow it out again, but this time without using any kind of products that could harm my hair, like hairdye and such stuff, i'll never ever gonna colour my hair again!
I trimmed it a little bit about a week ago, about a half inch from the ends, and i will keep on doing this until all the dye is gone from the hair, so i'll probably do it again either next month or in 2-3 months time, then i can cut a little bit more. I must say that it feels soo great to have my natural color returning, this time i think that i can grow my hair much healthier, well i've talked too much already, here are the pics:
Front pic, i almost never have my hair like this, i always comb it up with some kind of pomade, dunno if this is harmful for the hair or not:
And a pic from above, showing my natural color returning, although i am a little concerned that it's thinning in the scalp area, since it seems like there's less hair there than in the front, but maybe it's normal for some people to have it like that, i dunno, it's been like this for a long time anyway, my hair is fine/thin naturally.
And one from the back, sorry it's a little dark on the left side, but the sun is lightening the right side, there's still left pretty much dye, but hopefully it will be gone in a few months time if i keep trimming it:

Good to hear mate! Your hair will defintaly be kickass when you grow it out again. Also, I think your natural haircolour suits you best. :)
Kör hårt mannen! :)
Tackar! När ska du förresten göra en ny update? Det borde ha vuxit en del sen sist:)
Simon
Det kommer en uppdatering nu i början av maj. Det har växt en hel del faktiskt. :) Fortfarande långt ifrån långt dock... kan inte vänta. >_<
Hey, I'm closely following your get-rid-of-the-damage threads. You don't seem to have any dye now or my eyes are blind? Now you can grow it perfectly :) Don't worry, I don't think that's thinning, it's a natural part and blond hair tends to be finer, don't worry. Also, I think it's not good to comb it up BUT it's perfectly harmless for such short hair. That's how I did it, it's impossible to damage it when it's so short and new.
I'm looking forward to your second hair journey! ;)
Thanks! Well, it's probably hard to notice in the pics, but there is some brown dye left, but it'll probably fade over time, especially now in the summer, i'm so happy to have my natural haircolor back, i'll never gonna colour it again. Your hair is amazing as well, it seems to grow quite fast too, i noticed it in your latest update:)
Simon
If you started growing it out right now, I don't think you'll have any real problems with the color, Simon. Your hair looks quite healthy and I honestly can't see any color differences. Maybe it's the lighting or something...
Anyway, looks good, Simon! =)
-James
Thanks James! Yeah my hair feels alot healthier now since i stopped dying it, has alot more shine and not as dry either.
I'm lookin forward to seeing your progress as well:)
Simon
Hey Simon!
I feel really happy for you! I wish you all the best on your second journey, I'm sure you'll be able to grow your hair much longer now.
I also think it's awesome to see you with your natural hair colour, your hair looks so much better, and so do you! Plase don't colour it again =)
Best luck fella =) I'll be waiting to follow your progress =) And as long as the trims thing goes... I don't think you need it, as I can't see any diference in colour... =)
Hey David! Thanks for the kind words, i have a feeling this time my journey will turn out alot more better, as i'll never ever gonna go colour my hair again, most people say i suit much better in my natural color, wich is probably true, i'm really lookin forward to your progress as well!
Take care!
Simon
Good luck on your new Long Hair Journey!
Thank you! When are we going to see an update of your hair then?
Simon
Hi Simon,
Congratulations on the return of your natural blonde hair, it is coming in very well indeed. All the best in your return to long hair, and keep up the good work.
Keep it growing,
David
Thank you David! I also think that this time my long hair journey will turn out alot more better, i'll never ever gonna colour my hair again, most people i know think that my natural haircolor suits me best, as it goes with my skin and blue eyes, you're hair looks great as well, lookin forward to your next update:)
Simon
but hopefully it will be gone in a few months time if i keep trimming it:
Hello
Simon It would be far easier if you just let it grow out as further trims will delay you from gaining your hair from the desired length you want, you seem to have very little of your dyed colour left in your hair It dont require further trims but the choice is yours at the end of the day !

Simon
Your hair looks out of this world man just keep growing it as it will suit you long just like you to get your long hair back quicker rather than later on
Axel
Yeah maybe you're right, but i'll se what happens, i'm just soo happy to have most of my natural colour back, this time i think my hair will turn out alot more healthier too:)
Simon
Fine hair is a special challenge to grow as I well know, but you can do it I'm sure, fore-armed with all the knowledge you have from here. Good luck with it all and hope all's well in the Norrbotten this summer.
Yeah i guess fine hair is harder to grow because it tends to break more easily than thicker hairtypes, i'll have to be more careful this time around, not use any hairdye or anything else harmful.
Take care!
Simon
