Hello there,
I've got a big problem:
I am loosing many hairs, espacially at my hair line.
Most of the hairs are very short (1cm or 2). Now I'm afraid of hairloss and balding.
Is this normal?!!!
Please help me, I'm going mad :'(
No worries man, It is probably just normal shedding. Everyone looses about 100 hairs each day.
Take a picture of your hair line today, and then another one in a few months. Then compare.
But like I said, I would bet its normal shedding.
peace and Happy Earth Day!!!!

Hi Neo,
I saw your earlier update, you have nice, straight, thick hair which looked healthy and in good condition, and I could not detect any thinning in your photos as far as I can remember. It is normal to lose hairs of many different lengths throughout the day, this is part of the normal shedding cycle.
If you have ANY concerns whatsoever, an appointment with a doctor, preferably a dermatologist can do no harm at all. The good thing about this is that a doctor can lay your fears to rest once and for all if there is indeed no problem, and if there is some loss, can start you on a program when you are young, that is the time such programs are most effective.
Hope this helps, and all the best, keep us posted,
David
